Sounds like a great adventure for her Rick! Those recording studios are pretty cool!

Must have been a long drive! I can't imagine a crane is very speedy on the highway. (does it have a radio?)

Yup it had a radio with cd player, it is one of those grove all terrian cranes that was built in germany, it was as smooth very long ride at 53.5 mph:bang: and the route they had to send me added 400 miles because of the width and weight. But we are in the pick up headed back the most direct route. saw couple of sweet cruisers in different spots along the way have the itch now to get the 60 back on the road get it ready for this coming wheeling year

Oh yeah she is in the healing bay, works is slowing down a bit because of the road postings so I think I have about a 5 week window to work on it a little bit after work everyday before I go home. Have to finish fixing the rear quarters, change the gearing fix slider on pside so the door will open, get my tailgate back from Ken, maybe put a straight door or 2 on the pside :hhmm: nah, change the fluids oh yeah put new front driveshaft in it. You know just some minor things,

Dang...a couple of us were looking for some mud ship...oh well :frown:

Sorry I would 've mudshipped some stuff back but the chase truck is full of spare parts that I brought in case of break downs. We left this morning at 6 am and have traveled about 800 miles so far going to get another 160 miles and then call it a day with an easy 250 mile trip back portland tommrow

Sad sad day, after beating my head against the wall for weeks now I have made a decision, and I'm not happy about it, I have decided to take the Fj cruiser back to stock and sell it, I need a tow rig, very very sad day

How come you don't just sell it as is?

How far is your commute? Are you going gas or diesel? Why not just get an old one ton and call it a day. Still use the FJC for daily driver status.

Bummer. I went thru that same day about 6 months ago. I might be interested in a stock 40 depending on the price. PM me if you have a number in mind

Yeah, maybe if I read it completely the first time I wouldn't look so dumb.

The only way you wouldn't look dumb to us is if you were a Land Cruiser owner again.
