I bought a really nice 200a from Steve for $45. Looks and works like new.
I just joined this site, and I heard there was some nice comments on here about my work. I have been working and restoring lanterns and stoves for folks for several years. It is my passion. My favorite is restoring one that had belong to a love one. Those are priceless. I work on items for folks all over the US as well as some overseas. As Johnnyquest said I am very reasonable. I also sell many lanterns and stoves, and take trade-ins. I can be reached at lanternman56@att.net or on Facebook. I want to thank you letting me join your site.

Thank you for accepting my membership to Mudsanity. I would like to post some pictures, but being a newbe I'm not
sure how to do it. Can you please tell me how to do it ?
Thank you,
Lanternman

I think you just need a few (10?) posts first. Then you're all set.

Welcome Steve, the coleman nuts welcome you! Hope to get to the barn today and get some pictures mailed out to you. Connie is doing well thanks for asking!

I still have to finish reading through this thread, but I have a couple of older Colemans and non Coleman alike that I recently acquired from my grandfather. Most if not all haven't been used in at least 15 years. All of them have thus far fired up first try. They even have the same fuel in them.

I need to take pictures of my 2 burner Coleman stove when I get a chance.

Just noticed it's sitting on one of my Coleman tents. Next to my Coleman cooler. In front of my Coleman camp fuel can.

Those peak 1s are sweet. You'll like the SVEA; they're stupid simple. pour gas on top and light it on fire. makes great soup or coffee...it's the only other gas fired appliance besides a coleman I care to have in my camping stash

Thanks, Gramps always took good care of his stuff. Still has the receipts and sales invoices for all of his power tools and kitchen appliances from almost 30 years ago. I did have trouble with the mantle but thinking back, it might be the wrong one.

I have yet to test out the Svea but it's in excellent shape - I'll have to grab a pic of it out of the box.
