Took the drivers side door panel off to install the plastic / paper door liners. Also needed to fix some of the door panel clips that weren't cooperating. All back together and fitting much better.

While the Mustang is at the shop, I headed to Prescott for the Watson Lake car show. I was registered to bring my fake 45 pickup, but that didn't work out.
Instead, my friend Steve brought his 1969 Camaro. It's got a LS1.

Got the Mustang back. Tint, alignment and ac charging is done. Still a few loose ends to deal with though.......and unfortunately need to pull transmission to fix oil leak at back of motor.

Took a break and headed to Flagstaff this past weekend for a friend's wedding. We had some free time and checked out a few cool places.
First was Sunset Crater area. This is an area of old volcano craters and lava flows. There was also an Indian Pueblo.

Lastly, in honor of the Rt 66 100 year anniversary.....we stopped at Twin Arrows. This was an old gas station and Cafe with 2 large wooden arrows sticking in the ground. Now is a graffiti wasteland and there's only 1 remaining arrow. That's my friend's Raptor.

Been working on some gremlins and issues. The main one is the large oil leak from the back of the motor. I need to pull the transmission to fix it. Hopefully doing that next weekend.
Another problem is the Borgeson power steering lines. These are the lines made by them to work with this steering box. Problem is they are super close to the header. Also they are short and pull the fitting on the pump loose. One line is an easy fix low pressure. The other one I will have remade longer for better routing and strain relief.
Taking the pony to get some Lemans stripes this week. I got the hood hinges on.....just need a helper to install the hood now.

Well the stripe plan fell apart when I found out the soonest they could do the stripes was 3 weeks away. I didn't want the Mustang sitting somewhere waiting for 3 weeks......I got stuff to do.
I'll be redoing the power steering lines and pulling the transmission this weekend. Stripes can happen after I am 100 finished with the car.
