Well got the head back today and decided to rip into the paint while everything was clean. So far it's pomising to live up to the gay part.

While I'm still weirded out by the gayness, the paint itself looks good, got a deep shine to it, or is it still wet in the pic?

Dry it just looks that way.

very nice, ha ha, but i think when i build my big gay 2F, the valve cover will be pink.

maybe you could have a rotation of valve covers so that you can adequately support all limp-wristed colors

wow, this is gay! :) NTTIAWWT....

Do you think this is happening to this engine because of something that happenend in it's childhood? Maybe it was something in the the genetics of the two 'F' engines that mated? We're gonna need Dr Phil or Oprah and/or maybe even Barbara Walters and possibly a Dateline story on this one....more to follow...........

It looks like a bad day at Mardi Gras. Just wait to you see the block. I'm thinking either orange or chrome. What shou I paint it for maximum gayness?

No, it was cast that way at the foundry. You cannot take a straight engine and make it gay. There is no choice involved.

I would say that the block would naturally be orange to achieve maximum 'gayness' for all the Vols and Canes fans out there (Capt Jim), but I have Orange & Blue in my blood... Go Gators. Maybe it should be a combo of Garnet & Gold...every other cylinder...now that is gay!
