Imogene is one of my favorites too. I've done Imogene, Black Bear, Ophir, Engineer, Cinnamon, and Yankee Boy Basin. Imogene is the best and perfect blend of views, challenges, and exposure.

But that 17 hour haul?! Whoof! I commend you. With kids, I max out at 10 (and that is over night driving only).

Both of my bulbs have been flickering recently, and finally pulled the trigger on some Philips D4S Standard Xenon bulbs (not knowing there are some “Xtreme Vision” bulbs available overseas).
They look exactly like the stock bulb, which I guess is fine. Was hoping for better than oem, but c’est la vie.

Philips bulb is on the right…

Sweet truck! I’m still getting to the meat of the build but had to comment on this picture. Holy hell! I just dropped $90 for 20 gallons yesterday on a military installation (typically cheaper than on the economy). ”Paradise” prices are dumb!

I am not updating my bumper, although I do like the looks of the LX specific version, but radman and I both ordered Fabulous Fabrications SS snorkels and they were supposed to arrive today.

Front Bumper refreshed:
The LX specific front is deeper (no need for spacers), wider, the center section is larger (with light bar), and the wings angle up to match the facia lines (the low profile LC is flat across).

Note: the fire wood method is official way to align the beast.

Long story short, it looks like the “specialty Toyota 4x4 shop” royally screwed my alignment up 2 years ago, and my toe was -.4 on each side. This caused major wear on the insides of my front tires. The KO2s did a great job compensating, until they couldn’t anymore. It’s my bad for not getting aligned sooner (mostly due to covid), but the KO2s in my size have been backordered for nearly a year.

This had me considering these 3 tires:

I was about the pull the trigger on the Ridge Grapplers until I made a last minute call to @indycole to ask him about his Bajas. That, along with the fact that I see RGs all the time - I decided to go with the more unique Baja Bosssses.

They are amazing, but I’m not sure how much of the improved ride is from the tires vs the corrected alignment.
