That’s a panty dropper sir. Nice work!

Where will you let the MSSL take you?!?

Guess what y'all?

MSS-L is coming this week! The first batch of 10 will be ready to go by Saturday morning. I have 3 spoken for already for special accommodations, but the 7 will hit the site likely Saturday afternoon. I imagine they'll sell quickly, and I'll start production on the next batch of 20 right away.

The first batch will be the 'not-pointy' style. Second batch will be half 'not pointy' and half 'pointy'. You can see the differences in shape below:

Both styles are identical other than the shape of the very end of the spoiler. Alex liked his to look like a Stealth Bomber, I liked it a little more tucked.

I will also be offering 2 types of light pods early on. There is a pod designed specifically for the Baja S2, which is what Alex is running, and he cleverly made up a universal version that will also hold a more generic light from Amazon (Link HERE ). For those who know you're going to run the Bajas specifically, please let me know and I'll include the Baja specific mounts.

The first 2 batches will all be capable of installing the light pods. If some buyers want a blank spoiler with no lights, that's absolutely an option and will be a few $ less expensive.

Pricing is finalized, and they will run $350 for the kit. The kit will include everything except the lights themselves. It will include all stainless assembly and mounting hardware, the 3d printed light pods, and 3d printed mounting brackets. These are designed to bolt right up to a truck that already had an old-style black plastic spoiler. For folks like me with an original whale tail, or for non-spoiler trucks, stainless rivnuts are provided so you can install this exactly as the OEM wing would have been. 3d printed mounts act as a drill guide.

Alex and I are soooo excited to get this out. He's been a madman getting the design files dialed in and I feel like this project has literally taken place across the whole country. Big thanks to @CW100 as well for letting me crash at his place in TN a few times for test-fitting purposes.

Purchased!

Guess what, everyone?

Alex @LJE is officially a vendor on TAG! That's right, soon you'll be able to buy all of his brilliant products straight through the site. As of today, his 100 series Auxbeam Switch Panel Mount is live and available for purchase. This is the first step is building the site to my long term goal of a platform for anyone to be able to advertise and sell their home-made car parts and tools. Bare with us while we get it streamlined. I do real estate and Alex is a mechanical engineer, we're kind of (or maybe it's just me) bashing our heads through figuring out the process.

If anyone here is an shopify platform expert, I'm in the market for some platonic hand holding.

New products hitting the site!

All of @LJE 's products are now live on the site, including some extras since my last post. In addition to what's been posted above, his 3D printed battery terminal covers are now available HERE as well.

But wait, there's more! Several of you have been waiting for the 2-piece universal style Auxbeam switchboard mounting bracket. This one, designed by Alex @LJE , is designed to live snugly against the inside of your fusebox, and the mounting board is height adjustable. This is the one I'll be running in my own truck as my locker relays live on the fender where the original style bracket would go. I have a half-dozen of these cut and bent, and they'll be ready for shipping by the end of this coming week when I receive the 3D printed spacers.

Check it out HERE!

I'm prepping to assemble and install my own MSS-L on my truck, and figured I'd do a little instructional for how to assemble the Amazon lights in the universal light pods. It's pretty simple, grab a cold beer and enjoy the process.

First thing's first, this is what you'll have (lights are not included with the kit). 2 3D printed light pods, 2 3D printed adaptor brackets, 2 3D printed trim bezels, 2 hardware packs (from the lights) and Bag #5 from me (one for each light).

First step is to insert your nuts. I've been trying to insert my nuts in to things for a long time, so this came naturally. Find the adaptor bracket and carefully press the tiny nuts in to it.

Next, grab the light pod and insert the larger nuts from Bag #5 inside. You may find that starting the nuts on the bolts first is helpful to get them seated all the way in the pod.

They'll both look like this when done:

Next, you're going to attach the adaptor bracket to the light itself. For this, grab the 2 socket head cap screws from the light's hardware bag and install on the light. The bolts will go in from the sides, and it'll look like this when complete:

Now you're ready to insert and install the light in to the light pod. Be careful here so as not to let any of the nuts fall out that we've just pressed in.

First, line up the holes on the adaptor bracket to the holes in the top of the pod. Insert and snug up the 4 little screws in to the locknuts you pressed in.

It'll look like this when done:

And finally, lay the 3D printed trim bezel over the front of the light/pod, and insert the remaining 4 bolts. The bezel and nuts inside the pod will sandwich the light, keeping everything sturdy.

That's it! You're ready to install these light pods on to your MSS-L wings and wire them up. If you're running multiple lights and accessories, I highly recommend checking out the Auxbeam switchboard mounting brackets and switch panel mounting options, all available right now at The Artisan Garage. All items were designed by @LJE , and all parts produced by either he or I.

Sry for the bump, does it catch air and help keep the rear window clean like the stock one? Mine never had one and one of the first things I noticed was all the crud getting kicked up from the pavement landing on the window vs my friends one who does have the factory wing. (Actually called a "Dust Protector")

I'd like to get one but right now only if it helps with keeping the window clean by killings that low pressure area like the OEM one does.

It does help, should be at least to the same extent as the original style wing. I expect to be putting a fresh batch of these on the shelf in the next few days!

Orderd and its already shiped! yay.
Thanks for your order!! We try our very best to fulfill super fast. If I can't get an order out within 1 business day, I get all cranky.

I've got a handful of these on the shelf now and ready to go.
