Tesla style head unit - has anyone seen this?

I did the Nav delete on mine and kept the factory backup camera. You may need to tap into the existing wires to make it work, but if you run into any issues, let me know and I can try to help you with it. Your backup camera only needs 6v instead of 12 and a voltage regulator my be required if not included/built in to the system.

good luck!

got mine too, same unit. no rear camera though. Im perplexed as to what the metal brackets are for, and since i have an LX, my connectors arent all the same. ive got about 5 that match, but then i have about 15 that dont have homes (from the tesla screen)

Thanks! I'm hopeful that it'll be plug and play. But... my common sense is telling me it may not be.

How long from order to delivery?
It took about a month; but, i ordered it during the Lunar New Year celebration where most/all businesses shut down in China. They responded right after i ordered and said they would ship the unit when they returned to work, which the did. it was a little oiver two weeks from that point, which included a delay in California due to weather.

This video shows the install in a LC - shows a complete plug/play and also what the brackets are for. Guessing the LX looks different?

Super curious about the LX version. 🍿🍿

It does show plug and play but my wires dont look like a rats nest behind my nav screen like those do and he is already pulling out an Android head unit. Maybe the wiring was already done. Hopefully we hear from a couple of the members that recevied their unit and installed.

watched the video again and I guess the rats nest is not as big as I first though, Either way looks different then my 03 cruiser behind the unit.

That was fast! Any missing connections?

Installed mine today - no sound, no HVAC, no backup cam. There are no missing wires (all connections had a home - and only fit in one location). We'll see how the support from China is...

no, all connections fit after reviewing a video, however i have a completely extra harness from the install. there are two that are similar. they are a breakout harness for the OEM buttons/passenge sensor on either side of the radio, the one i used has all the connectors connected, there is another one with an extra plug on it, has a thin data=type connector but it has nowhere to go. they both cant connect to the car, its an either-or affair, but im perplexed as to why they sent two sets, unless one is for US and one is ero/jdm. good news is you can change from KM to MPH and C to F on the units of measure. just gotta figure out the AC problem. and yes, i moved over the black control box from the original unit.

what year and model are you on? ive got all working but AC. maybe i can help you out?
Sorry, didnt hook up rear cam but that was addressed somewhere else as a voltage issue. wasnt a huge concern for me at the moment. but lets get you some audio!

yeah - i came to the same conclusion about that extra harness. One fit perfectly, one didn't - set that aside assuming it was for a different vehicle/market. Let me know if you figure out the AC issue. Very little is working on mine.

2006 Land Cruiser. Not sure why it isn't working - all connections found a home, i spent the better part of an hour playing with settings, etc. No sound from radio, bluetooth, the pre-loaded songs, etc. None of the HVAC works (including all the physical buttons at the bottom).
