I'll be in TN for that last weekend you need help. I'm not positive I can come yet but I'm going to try to. I'll let you know if I can definately make it or not though. It sounds likea great time though!

UC will be in Tellico for the Over the Mountain Tour Aug 10th-12th. I should have a good group of volunteers to help. What I need from ya'll is some sort of schedule we can work out so I can let people know what to expect. My goal is for a majority of the group to go wheeling Sat around 9:30-10. We could do trash pickup then. But I should have some people coming in Friday who might want to help if there is anything to do.

We have 8-10 days of work on the trails scheduled before your ride, so we are not sure where we will be by then. How many people do you expect on Friday and what time will they be available for work?

Roger that is a good question. I would say at least 5-10 on friday. I can start a signup schedule and have you a pretty good list in two weeks. Also what time would you guys want us to start? Most people are coming in Friday night but if we can get something nailed down more will come early due to the fact that UC uses Tellico so much we need to return the favor.
Looks like the earliest we can start is around 12-1 as most people are driving in that day.
If there are signs to be put up we could probably do that Sat while on the trail. I'm sure a half dozen or so people wouldn't mind hauling a post hole digger and planting a sign while on the trail. All we would need is someone to show us where.

Actually you just use a driver and pound them into the ground. we are talking about the trail number marker polesThey are suppose to be at each end of the trails and have stickers that indicate trail rating and which types of vehicles are allowed. Every trail needs to be checked.
I'm sure we all carry a BFH. Or at least us 40 owners do. lol

The Forset service will provide the drivers, the flat carsonite(sp?) posts take a special driver. We'll let you do 11 and 12, need someone that can get to the top.
Thanks again for letting us help. I hope we did a good job. If there are any issues please let us know as we would like to learn from our mistakes.

Thank you all for the help, there is still a lot to be done but we have good people like you allchipping away at it.
Here are a few pics I snagged along the way...
We made 5 trips up Trail 5 on Sat. And 2 more on Sunday. This included 1 trip up Trail 8 and another trip to Fayne's Ford to dump a load at the river crossing.
