Most awesome...Count us in for the cabin

so there is 4 of us.....Does that lower the nightly rate to 15 yet ?:D

Talked to everyone and we are all are game for the cabin... Thanks a zillion for including me in on this os so sweet deal..

-Al:beer:

The guy said it was $20 a head, per night over two. Did you and Todd
study math together? :flipoff2: Now with the ever increasing crowd that
$400 base rate as divided is getting mighty small. :grinpimp:
LOL...if 400 come it'd be less than $21 a night per head.
Glad ya'll are crashing with us!

Hey I already finished my math classes in college:flipoff2: so that means I never have to use it agian....right? :D

Me and my girl only need one bed anyway;)

Cool still mark us down.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet and now the party is on!!!!! Everybody best plan on a yeager night or substitute my St. Auggie bottle of Absenthe or Carolina shine and it's gonna be crazy   . All the good karma to last a lifetime. This might be the best May ever!!! Marshall - I understand - hope to katch up to ya in August - I'm planning my Annual surf trip(s) around it :D.

Last year was 1 case of rum for the campsite. I might need to start my own distillery this year with the cabin. I'll need to get an in at one of the sugar cane fields down here and get a move on. Times a wastin'

So how many we got? looks like 4 in my group with anywhere from 2 to 3 trucks...

Sooo stoked...

How far is the trail cabin located from Crawford's Campground?

We don't want to miss the fun but the :princess::princess::princess: (me and two lap dogs) must have our hair dryer and running water in the RV.

Ken can go wheeling, riding, or cook breakfast!!

I'll use part of the case of rum for rum cakes and share with all dispersed groups at GSMTR!!

Crawfords is about 30 min away from the cabin. The cabin is up trail 1 near the Murphy side pay station...Crawfords is out toward Murphy and a right hand turn away.

These are nice digs - much better than staying at Crawfords - unless you want more privacy when you sleep. It's about 20 - 25 min away - everybody staying at Crawfords drives by on the way into the trails.

Don't plan on there being enough Rum to make cakes - just bring lots more .

I was JUST kidding about using your rum!! :o I keep a case of my own!!! The cake only takes about a third of a bottle anyway....hehehehehehe.

Thanks for the geographical info. Ken and I will figure out what the best scenario is for our 'rolling house' but we are planning to be at GSMTR. Sounds like fun!!

Way to go David!!! Count me in for the full ride. I might go down on the river a few nights - but will keep all my stuff on the bed. My son may be coming this year again - he's licensed now, Eeeeeeeep!!!!!!!!! I'll update when I get his next report card - which will be a make or break on whether he gets to go.

Not to spark any controversy - I'll still be retaining my rights to a room (does this include board :flipoff2:) - but I am definitely going to be on the river a majority of the week. Seems the controversial part comes in that several Florida folk and a few UC folk might have a tendency to party to hard and long - which might not be conducive to the overall group .

I will most likely leave my trailer at the house [so I'm calling dibs on a trailer spot], as well as most of my gear in the room - camping will be a breeze without having to lug all my junk around. Trying to pull my 40 over trail 1 last year with my 2 wheel drive Duramax sucked at those two hairpin turns!

I agree 100%.:grinpimp: We should implement a 'partying courtesy' rule. I suggest we should call it quits each night once 2/3 of the guys partying pass out or when we run out of booze...whichever comes first. The rule is exempt only on the nights the mason jar is open. This way it's fair to everyone staying at the cabin. Feel free to post any suggestions.

See what I'm saying - there are folk down here that should be in therapy . If it's one thing we always seem to do right - it's property stock and plan for an excessive amount of booze! Jim you got that beer pyramid pic handy. I'll go with what Todd says above with exception to changing guys to guys and gals :D.

:D
Don't you guys go scaring the newbies. Most parties are
over WELL before dawn. We ain't lost/run off a Cruiserhead
or had one get jailed EVER. :grinpimp:

Tis true that no one has every truly run amuk of any real trouble (excluding the BJ73 hijacking incident and related, ahem, fun had oen evening), but just as an FYI it seems that in my absence Jim has taken on the role of getting up early and getting it in gear to wheel early. Now imagine a few all nighters coupled with my enthusiasm (read hyperactivity) for not sleeping and wheeling more - and well, there's gonna be some tired newbies :flipoff2:. Wheel, eat, drink and be merry (who gets to be merry is up to ya'all).

Now here's the rub - Brandon's mother laid into me about excessive partying to which I responded, our group does not condone drinking and wheeling (that's what annual surf trips are for), if we travel we have designated drivers (remember my Pop being a good sport about that a few years back), and that we drink responsibly. She just said not to glorify it so as to give the kid the wrong impression - so I'll be asking everyone to be on their best role model behavior.

:D

I was under the impression that the trails were closed until at the earliest noon, and open until the sun comes back up the next morning. Is that not the case? I have yet to see the FL crew hit the trails with an a.m. behind the digits on their watch, and not needing their headlights for the last half of the trailride.

I like Trolls rule. If you wanna party past 1AM take it to the waterfall :)

Waterfall fun...cigars for everyone!

Ummm...that was more of a suggestion. Don't let the barks fool
ya, the bite ain't bad. We run a tight ship. It ain't no ship of fools.
Offensive behavior is not tolerated and if we ever had an offender,
which we ain't, discipline would be swift and severe.
Drinking and driving is STRICTLY prohibited. Respect for friends is
the overriding rule of order.
It's family friendly...no kidding. :) But, if you don't wish to see grown men
having a  and laughing their butts off...think twice. :)
I personally can't wait to visit the waterfall. I think I'll have company.
:grinpimp:
