Brake servo, master cylinder, clutch master removal

I got the brake servo/master cylinder and clutch master cylinder removed today. I also took the blower motor/ and a/c unit
off. The heater unit came off too. I'm getting close to sandblasting the body, just a few more things to remove.

Dash gauges and wiring

After removing the gauges and wiring harness I've decided to go further and remove the body from the frame. My sandblaster guy needs it by the 6th of June, so that's the goal. Get the body off and on a trailer (yet to be found) and deliver it to his shop.
In for a penny, in for a pound. I'm commited now, I might as well get the whole thing blasted, frame as well as the under-carraige.
This could get nasty.

I choose old school paint removal.. media blasting it not as relaxing....

I've lost track of the hours spent so far, but rest assured if I was paying someone to do do everything, I'd be broke by now.

I'll be watching pumpkin troopy's posts from here on out. This site has a way of shrinking the planet, doesn't it.

Bracing

The steering rack is out and the bracing is in. now the body can come off.

Off to the sand blaster

The guys from The Rod Shop (Stuart Fl.) are going to sand blast it and put the body on a rotisserie so the bottom can be done as well. Then the frame Will get blasted and painted.

i'm jealous of your nice/clean rear quarters. Looking good!

Your HJ looks amazing I have spent every night this week cutting and welding rust holes.. I am starting to hate Aussie "BOG" Bondo repairs I have found a coke can and newspaper under the bondo, which in one area was over 1 inch think..

Your ride is so clean.... great job.....

Thanks guys, I'm dealing with some rust that is in very difficult areas to repair. atleast for me to repair. So I'll be letting the pros attack the difficult areas and hopefully i can take care of the easy ones.

Rotiserie

Here's a milestone. It's finally off the frame.
