Built the swingouts. Decided to run the ladder on the Drivers side, and spare tire on the passenger side.

Roommate gave me a spare just to have until I get a matching one.

Mike hooked me up with an AT Gas can holder, so we came up with a holder for it. I will have two of them, one to hold gas and one for water.

Painted the bumper with Tractor paint. (It's been almost two years now and it has been holding up well to the elements, I would like it to get powder coated soon)

Still looking to get a matching AT holder, they don't come in steel powder coated black anymore...

I'm not sure why I didn't stalk this build thread sooner. Haha. Quick question for ya! Is your rooftop tent positioning intentional? Like, did you position it further forward for better weight distribution? When I put mine back on, I'm going to try moving it towards the front, see if it feels better up there.

Hey! Funny seeing you on the forums! The positioning was intentional if you look at where the crossbars are the mounts are by the B and C Pillar to help distribute the weight of the tent. Plus I think it looks best centered, I never liked the look with the tent all the way back unless you need the space up in front for solar or like maxxtracs.

Here is a more up to date photo, new rack but I kept the same placement for the tent. :hillbilly:

Ahh, good thinking! And it does look a ton better! I had mine sitting pretty far back, and rotated so it would open over the back. I hated how it looked. And when we were fully loaded, it really squatted the rear down. Done. Decision made. Haha. Thanks for the response!

Glad I can help!

Hey guys, I really need to get this rolling again so here are some pictures of the CB Mount that I built for the 60. Two years later and it is still solid and working great!!

I went with a smaller CB that would fit in the map holder (OR PB&J pocket if that's your thing ;)) Plenty of power for a signal and still puts out enough volume to hear it with rolling on the highway or trail with music on!

That's great. I'm going to try making one too. It looks very well designed.

I'd probably just put a notch in the body metal above the tail light for the wire thought. A small notch just big enough for the wire would not be hard, then use some black sealant to keep the water out... just me.

Great fab work.
Thank you! Didnt take to much time to make but it was fun to throw together. So solid too. Zero movements or any noise when the antenna is moving.

Awesome man!! Can't wait to see how it turns out! Having a notch for the wire would be good! I just didnt want to cut into the body.

Top of the world trail in Moab.

The main reason anyone does this trail... To get this picture. Just feels a little sketchy with the clutch... Mostly mental but you don't want to mess up with that drop...

Had some fun on the way down from the top of the trail, got to test the strength of the Toyota Welds... And figure out a way to get off the trail before dark and make it 30 miles back to Moab.

Snapped the shackle mount straight off the frame..

Redneck engineering at its finest...

Finished the trail, made it back town to M4O (Moab 4x4 Outpost) Got it welded since I still had a 4 Hour drive back home.

After that trip, I decided I was tired of the rear main leaking and since I was already there, clutch and resurface flywheel makes sense.
