Very interested in making a custom label for my FJ60. Any tips on removing the label window? I've done some prying but I don't want to mar the face of the switch.
A little more fiddling and if figured out that the button face can be popped off to access the label.

The label sheet worked great for this switch on my FJ62, thanks!

Any chance of a ‘2LO’ label? I want to add a disconnect for the FJ62’s automatic 4wd when using low range.

It looks like a similar technique can be used for the early model curved switches.

Does anyone have the any of the light icons in a vector graphic? I’ll rebuild it in something like Illustrator if I have to, but would like to avoid it. I’m going to see if I print this out on a vinyl cutter if that looks good. I need to build fit these to the dimensions of the curved switches.

To put a pin in this, I made a vector graphic and cut black matte vinyl on a laser cutter. I used 2000 grit wet sand paper to remove the silk screen and put the vinyl on the outside. I had a hard time getting the bubbles out is why I didn’t put the vinyl on the inside. I scotch taped a piece of white paper for contrast.

Not perfect yet, but I should get it all sorted and looking better.

I wet sanded with 2000 grit to remove the silk screen.

I’ve had luck heating them up slightly, then getting in there with a razor blade, but it needs to be a very thin razor blade. Definitely requires some caution in order to not ruin it. But I agree with above, wet sanding it helps a bunch before you put the new sticker on it.
