Thanks for the pics. I've been strongly considering the Exo myself and this pretty much clinches it.

I highly recommend the 1UP hitch rack wall mount if you have wall space for it. Great way to store the EXO when not being used.

Saris has a swingaway now:

I had their MHS rack. Probably the strongest bike rack on the market, but super heavy.

From the configuration, it might be suspect. Depending on how close in it is to the bumper, the locking handle will interfere with the tailgate in the lowered position. Also looks a bit narrow for the wider 200.

I’ve got a Stowaway 2 swing out cargo basket that works nice. How are you guys keeping them from wobbling? I used some washers and duct tape today in pre for our 9 hour drive tomorrow, but looking for a more scientific solution.

Same. I have one on order. Kuat pivot v1 pivot bolt definitely hit the tailgate, was hoping the v2 with the flatter pivot would clear.

Rec’d the Kuat pivot v2 today. The tailgate contacts the top of the rear most bar (the fixed bar) when you crank up the anti-rattle.

Soooo close! When you loosely fit the carrier, there’s like 2 sheets of paper clearance between it and the tailgate. If you apply any pressure to the tailgate, it touches the carrier.

Once you crank up the antirattle there is solid contact. You’d probably want the carrier about a half inch lower.

Also the flap on the hitch pin lock won’t fully close due to lack of clearance.

Bummer! I was looking forward to maybe one day picking up the Kuat as it's so right in so many ways. Maybe with a bit of grinding and modification?

I edited my original post so others don't go down this path.

Why not use something like this? It will obviously push it away from the bumper (won’t fit as flush), but should solve clearance issues with the tailgate. Kuat even makes one.

Someone could also fabricate/weld a "U-shaped" receiver extension that would put the new receiver just below the factory unit and not extend as far out as the linked products.

You can pickup scrap square tube at a local steel shop or buy receiver tube (for DIY fab) from CURT or similar through amazon or eTrailer for relatively cheap.

I don’t want to go

dropper —> swing away —> 1up 2 bike rack

It already sticks way out as is. Plus each part needs a pin and lock, gets crazy fast

see the pics above, I have the exact same issues

I'm glad I saw this. I'm looking into upgrading to a hitch mounted tray bike rack. Definitely need to get some kind of swingout. KUAT was on the short list. I need to be able to haul 4 bikes. Any recommendations? I currently have a Yakima fullswing but it's really hard on the bikes and is not all that easy to use.

I don't think fitment if verified yet, but it's a solid swing and rack platform.
