My 60 passed smog so I'm going to drive that down on Friday.

It's not ideal but I have to leave on Saturday. At least i get to enjoy one night!

nope. you only need one if you go out into the dunes. past the sand hiway

Hi Damon,

Likely heading out at about the same time in the blue-beast. Other than a quick gas-up in Aptos (gotta love $0.70 cent per gallon Safeway discount earned when filling the main and sub), I am good to go the distance.

Running solo so that I can get the camp setup before the drives down in the afternoon with our son.

Cruiser just needs the tow bumper, truck has new front tires, got the CO2 filled today.

As soon as I'm ready I'm going to pull my Orion out to bring to Mark for a look-see, so I'll be rushing right up to departure, as usual. At least I'm not having to install anything. Worst thing that could happen with removing the Orion is that I won't be able to get it out in time and I'll have to leave it home.

To the little group of rigs that was heading down today and bothered to wave and honk as they passed me while I sat in traffic. Have fun and sick job on the Tacoma and 80 Series! FWIW~I'll be in Alameda tomorrow until maybe 5pm so if anyone needs a hand with any issues, hit me up via pm. I'll be sure to login about noon, 2, and 5 so i can check the inbox.
