Mace- I picked up a bracket that mounts on your axle like a washer from cyclegear.

Another thing guys are doing at Glamis is mounting a shortened 2-3 ft. whip to the back of their chest protectors.

Yeah I picked up one of those too. But the axle has the adjusters built into it. The nut is on the right side and so is the exhaust. I may be able to swap the axle, but with the adjuster welded to one side of the axle, I am not sure it can be flipped.

Yep totally enforced on bikes. Always has been. Funny little secret, helmets are not required on motorcycles off-road, not that it's recommended. ATVs yes, cycles no. weird.

Grace period for the new flags on all vehicles in dunes has ended and it's enforced.

Speaking of rules. The biggest rules we all can ALL comply with are:

15 MPH on beach and near campers.

Don't drink and drive. Pick one or the other, but not both.

These are enforced.

The Surf N Turf safety committee hereby deputizes all of you. If you see a Land Cruiser violating these rules please talk to them. We have a great reputation with the LEOs lets help them out.

Be SAFE, watch out for kids and pedestrians. Be extra careful in camp.

I could use an extra flag for my quad that I hope to get running by then. I would call you but you guys never answer your phones. Give me a call after work and I will plan on stopping by before I head out. Right now my transmission and t-case are torn apart on my bench and I am planing on heading out Thursday morning at the latest. Wish me luck...

Hi Susan, The flag part is not an issue, I'll be sporting a fancy Ih8mud flag on the beach (and so will about 499 other trucks ;) )

It's the darn mounting bracket I have to figure out. I'll get'erdone tho :)

The Chest protector idea is interesting. Kinda Mad Maxish.. However, I don't want to have to go use the potty with a flag on my back ;)

i have an extra flag that ill bring if someone wants it. it doesnt have a mount bolt/nut but its free to whoever wants it. lemme know
 
Does anyone know the best place to pickup a flag whip around Sacramento area or Pismo?
Also, what does the length need to be for the LC?
