After being an absentee last year, I will be back at Blue Camp. Feels like coming home hehe.
got me worried so I called & asked to reserve a space in BLUE camp. They said there is no blue camp.
I said is it full?
NO!
Why can't I get a space in Blue camp?
There is no blue camp.
Do I need a parking pass? NO!
How about GREEN Camp?
There is no green camp!
sand driveway? NO!
LADY, the beach is all ONE COLOR, there are no designated colors, camps or driveways!
Did you really do that? that is funny wish you had it recorded or something.
Not to be a martyr but this SnT Has been made possible not only by Jim, but also FoOD. So how many of YOU are members of this group who continually fight to keep the Oceano Dunes open so we can enjoy such things as the SnT?

Keeping the beach open is a constant battle. As many of you know the Surf N Turf main camp is located in the seasonal closure area south of Pole 6 for bird nesting. This area is closed -no vehicles, no walking, nothing- from March to September 30. The current fight is centered on air pollution and dust leaving the park.
The anti- motor vehicle crowd is organized and vocal. They jump behind whatever might close the beach. The Friends of Oceano Dunes use the donations to fight back in court. They do good work but it never ends.
Damn...3g service in the middle of no where...
But it can't decide which time zone you're in.
Steve, found this today your welcome to it for a handshake I will be camped behind the main camp on Wednesday just look for LVertiable.

Really looking forward to being there.
Camper loaded, the LVertiable is set and ready to go, just need to pack some food, firewood , and parts. Leaving Tuesday morning 0830 am will be on the beach Wed morning sometime so I will find you Jim to help out with whatever. Bringing some new Cruiser Folks this year and cant wait to see the rest of our extended Toyota Family.
LOL, Im gonna miss the 40 this year, still the only person to break a birf at SNT.............
Ok, I am going to try to come. How difficult is it to get a stock 4x4 crewcab pickup truck towing a 16 foot car trailer with the Land Cruiser on it into camp. And do you let air out of the trailer tires also. No co-driver this year so if I get stuck I'll be taking the LC off the trailer and driving into to camp for help.

Air down to 15-20lbs and roll in, have a plan to put the air back in when you are done, no one stays stuck.
