Hopefully leaving LA arnd 1/2pm picking up on the 405N. at Wilshire...to the 101w. I'll be on the CB channel 2 and monitoring the HAM.
If anyone wants to set up camp near me, I have Mountain Dew. And my 80 and tent are hella away frpom everybody. I am wearing a black shirt with a gray f on it today. SAY HI to me. Because I don't know anyone.
Tomatopants – Go find NorCal Wagon group, and introduce yourself to the group. Ask Jim where they are located...
Look for La Cabra Truck, and Doug. I don't know if they are there yet.Just find the two largest guys near the center of camp. One will be Alvaro Rodriguez and the other is Doug Johnson. You couldn't introduce yourself to two nicer guys. Alvaro will be running the Sand Chef competion this evening.
I guess it's too late to leave Louisiana to go meet y'all! Have fun fellas. Take pics.
Haha one time I met Alvaro when I saw him eating dinner with Mudrak and family. He's a nice guy.
Murphy's law is hitting me hard at work 
...I don't think I'll be on the road until 5. With the detour from Pasadena to Westwood to pick up a friend then rush hour in the valley I'll probably be in around 10. So much for my getting to the beach during normal hours.

So I head towards the dunes and the first damn thing I do... Have to spend 10 minutes digging myself out of the pit I dug my tires into. DAMMIT!!!! So then with my tires aired down and out of the pits. Me and my friends had an awesome time fooling around in the dunes. There are pictures but I'm on an iPhone so I won't be posting any till Sunday. And I still haven't talked to anyone aside from the guy who asked if I needed help getting out of my mess. When can I go get my shirts?

Looks like I WON'T be able to go for my first SNT.
I was looking forward to this for a while. I just got my FJ60 last month.
I work for a "Public Services" company and we've been swamped with work due to the recent fires.
I will probably be going to work in the the San Diego area too.
Oh, well, it's Overtime that's just in time for the Holidays and just in time for me to buy more stuff for my FJ60 so not all is lost!

Poker run starts at noon. I'll be at check point #5, grading the final hands.
We are at the start of the poker run right now. I am still not sure exactly what will happen. Mudrak told me to just follow all the other Cruisers. On, and there is a 70 series here! Holy crap! Pictures coming tomorrow. Lawns someone next to me in camp knew I am tomatopants. Somehow....
Well my 80 was the first rig to finish. Pair of 9s. I think it's safe to say we lost. Beh. I am having an awesome time. Sucks for those of you who didn't get to go. Next year!
