do NOT throw down with that challenge....you know I can break anything :)

My first year I came in with 10,000lbs of Toyhauler and Kowboy and crew tugged me through camp and out into the dunes while everyone cheered, then left early on Sunday.............with me still out in the dunes. So I learned that 10lbs tire pressure makes a huge difference. FWIW I know that everyone will get you set up just fine on the beach if you want too. I know folks that take diesel pushers in there all summer, last year I was closer to the water and didnt have any traction issues. Just know the tides and have Jim place you in the right spot. Gonna bring Beluga?

I think the motorhome is a little more than 10k, plus I do not know how low you can air those down. As for Beluga, she is sold so right now I am not sure what I am bringing. Trying to figure that one out.

those that have met me already know....

I'm WAY overrated.....

Spendin the days prior at SEMA, so not sure when Mace and I will roll in...just depends on how tired the feet get from walkin....haha

LOL Brian. Never the less, it's always nice to put a face, etc with a voice or in this case an avatar!

I'll have two with me....not sure WHAT two, but the 40 for sure, and likely the 80...

you break it, you fix it :D

hmm.....Duramax, 32' gooseneck, 15k....suspect I'll be parkin on pavement too....

If I HAD to, I could always just unload...puts the trailer at a 'mere' 5k then :p

Aww come on Wood...... Kowboy made it almost all the way to camp, then we hooked Waggoners 45 & Kowboys 40 to the Dodge & Gooseneck & drug it into place (Dodge heading down hill):D

Pay attention to the tides:doh: you will be able to make it, then when stuck start hooking rigs together, have one fellow spot & let everyone hammer it....... it was cool.

:bounce:And a few pictures to get yawl ready!:bounce2:

I think they are talking about supersize this sign post that I created 4 or 5 years ago and gave to Jim with help from Amando. Oddly, it look kind small to me even thought this sign post is 15 ft high.

This sign post was only meant to last a year or two however Jim likes it and his crew improved by adding a steel base for more stability and easier to set it up for years to come.

Cheers,

See what you started Jay?

I guess it was a couple years ago after adding lots of signs (weight and wind resistance) we found that a severely windy afternoon was too much for the sign post. It came down with a thud. Fortunately, no one was nearby or they would have got a big headache.

We decided to add some "Hanna Quality". Yes, it's a tad "overbuilt" just the way we like it!

Man that brings back memorys, really would like to come down this year and see Jim and the gang. I felt like I was meeting legends, like Texican, Jim B, Kowboy on and on I could go.

Good times for sure.

Hope to see you guys this year.

Rob

weak link?

hey, that thing looks awesome.i guess i need to bring my own sign to add to that post.that base sure looks overkill, but how about the main post?could that be a possible weak link if in case there is more boards added later?just my .02
