Saw this cool looking Cruiser in Cambridge between Harvard and Central Sq over the summer, complete with parking ticket :) Forgot I took pics of it until I was "cleaning" out my phone earlier. Can anyone tell me what series it is? Looks kinda old skool but the interior is quite modern. I'm a 100-series guy myself and am still learning the Cruiser pedigree

Looks like an HZJ77 Troopy. Very cool rig!

Interesting. Did you notice if the truck had US or international rear plate? I have parked a lot on the streets of Boston and Cambridge in Series Land Rovers with Costa Rican plates and get nuthin. Not one single ticket ever. I suspect the new handheld ticketing units don't allow for non US plate entry.

Hi REDrum, I remember you from when I first got my cruiser and you were kind enough to give me your 3rd row seats since mine didn't come with any. To answer your question, I did not happen to notice if the rear plate was local or not. To be honest, I'm surprised that I didn't stop to look. It's something I normally would do. Guess I must have just been too enamored by the thing to pay attention to details :) Hope you've been well, friend!

If you just need a pallet, I have s*** loads of them you can have, no crates though.

While no longer summer up here, its late spring in Costa Rica right now (yes even though they are north of the equator), and everyone is getting prepared for summer/tourist season. Here is a great shot of my crazy Basque buddy, and his trusty diesel 80 (note ambulance doors). Georges is setting up his hilltop open-air bar one night a week restaurant (F2T) for the opening night of the season. The sunset view from this Malpais hill is epic. And, yes, that is diesel smoke not fog.... Pura Vida

Spotted over the weekend, more Central American Toyota truck porn.

"don't all pretend like you're not impressed..."

Yes Nial you are annoying- but keep the pics coming and bring the 70 series troopy home
