Gabe, I would defiinately get that thing cleaned first, then get a pressure tester on the radiator (not too much pressure) to see where the leak is. The water pump on there isn't a real hard job. But it could be a hose.

well i drove it around/idled for almost an hr and it never leaked again?? I am gonna start replacing all the hoses and see if that takes care of it.

Did you check your oil level to try and determine how much leaked out? Did you check your oil galley plug?

Yeah we checked both. It's engine oil from what I can tell. Most likely a rear main seal.

As far as the radiator fluid. Who knows. Unless he can determine where it's coming from he's pissing in the wind replacing stuff.

yeah well its my big giant blob. One minor oil leak at the drain plug i know. LIke i said the stupid thing didn't leak this morning after running the heat and driving the dog s@#$ out of it so has to be something minor. After hose are replaced i will take inspection cover off the motor/tranny and go from there.

besides the hoses look like fubar anyway. Not gonna hurt to replace them.

My 22re in the pickup started with replacing the hoses and ended up in a full on coolant system replacement. I would def look under there really well after you clean it off and see where its coming from. Busted water pumps that eat radiators are no fun, even in an inexpensive pickup.

it is in pic 3 just above where the flashlight is shining. The small white looking spot is water. There is a hose there so i am waiting for it to cool. Honestly not completely sure that is what it is though.
