Sweet! Thanks! My 60 is an '87 build date Dec '86

Alright, I think I have the kits pretty wrapped up. Good news it is/was all stuff we stock, I just needed to build it into kits on our system. PM me a phone number when you're ready and I'll have one of our parts specialists buzz you to proceed with an order. Kits are ready to ship.

Did you order a whole kit from Dob or just the springs? If just the kit, did you also replace the shocks, shackles, bushings etc?
Replaced everything, but only got springs and U-bolts from Dobinsons. Shackles from SOR. Bilstein shocks from City Racer. Spring pads from Toyota.

The first kits to ship (not including local projects) will ship early next week. I'll get some pics of the assembled kits. Very stock appearance, Japanese springs that have OE part number and architecture, OEM shocks (can do Bilstein but why?), Japanese front/rear shackles, springs pins, rubber bushings, hardware, etc.

The only thing we made an appearance concession on in our kit BOM was u-bolts. OEM u-bolts are over $300 for the set. They are zinc/silver color. We have a great aftermarket option that is $100/set and cad gold colored. We are investigating sending a bunch to get coated silver or we can upgrade to the OEM as desired.

Gold looks way better. Nice contrast to the black.

I don't disagree but we were being really picky about keeping it all phone stock appearance. One of the 1st of these to get installed is a super bone stock clean FJ60, it may get silver. :D

What's the pricing for the full setup?

Thanks for putting this together Kurt. I’ve been looking for a solution for years and have spent way too much time and money trying to fix brand new pre-sagged springs. Just curious, If I already have shackles/pads/shocks, will there be an option to buy just the springs and Ubolts?

Not initially, we are only offering it as a complete kit. If/when there is demand for loose and supply avail outside of complete kits, we’ll look into it.

I assume the answer is "no problems"...but how does CAD coating hold up to the flexing?

Hi Kurt, did you say that there are leaf springs (or complete suspension kits) from Japan for the 40-Series too?
If yes, what about 1978 BJ40 and 1983 FJ45 PickUp?

Good news Kurt, you are doing a great job!

As it concerns the Pickup, it is a FJ45, but with the 2H swap I plan, it will be a 47 (LHD)...

Would love to starting seeing some pictures of this setup as installs are happening. 🙌

We can make the pictures of the parts happen, customers need to make the install pics happen. I don't know how many of the first kit recipients are on Mud but I'm sure at least one is. @dmc may be the first local install but he may take it to our pal Will C in Texas to install during some other projects he has planned.

What fox shocks are you going with? I'd love to run fox but not sure what fits.
apologize for the really, really, late reply, they are the fox 2.0 reservoirs. I haven't bought springs yet but Kurt is who I will buy from. I need to purchase a Knuckle rebuild kit , (a mess) and Koyo bearings from Kurt as well for my LX450 in January; That will be my first time doing it and I'm a little nervous about screwing that up; I usually find a way, lol
