I'd be down for either weekend depending on if my son's baseball league starts back up and he has a game.
I'm tentative. I'm determined to get the 40 running so I can at least do a shakedown run to Woolys. I'd probably have to bring the 80 to LBL. We have also have youth baseball likely starting up soon for 2 of my kids, so that's going to impact my availability too.
Made it back from NYC - move back to Gallatin complete!! It was 5, 16-hours days to drive up, pack, and drive back. But 2000 miles and lots of gas later, we’re finally here to stay.

If anyone has the Maplets app on their phone, Turkey Bay trail system is on there as a download. Over 100 miles of trails, and with Maplets, your vehicle position is seen at all times, preventing the need for a paper map

It looks like Windrock Park is wide open though, in case we want to do overnight camping: WINDROCK PARK - The South's Premier Off-Road Adventure Park
I know Larry and some of the STLCA guys have been talking over in the STLCA chit chat about going and doing some trails/camping. Wind rock is the headquarters for the annual GSMTR, a huge Toyota trail event hosted by STLCA. That would be good for some of you new guys to get your feet wet on some amazing trails.

The managed campgrounds are CLOSED but the "basic" and "dispersed" camping areas are OPEN it looks like. I think it just means we'd have to go outside of the official OHV area. I'll reach out to them and see if I can get a straight answer from the USFS.
I'm ok with Windrock as well. The "...ok to messy pretty quickly" does worry me a bit. I don't have sliders yet and the wife will NOT be happy if I come home with a crunched door or rocker panel.

I like the idea of Turkey Bay because it is a "different" place to go explore, and would be closer to us in Nashville than Windrock. This would be a good shake down run for anyone wanting to get into off roading. Windrock has plenty of mild to medium trails, and there are lots of stock vehicles driving all over out there. I am good with either, it would just be cool to bring the fishing poles and kayaks also!
Looking at the weekend of 6/6-6/7 or overnight the next weekend 6/12-6/14.
Just FYI, here's the response I got from the folks at LBL regarding camping:
"There are 3 camping options. There is self-service, basic, or dispersed. Self-service is a per night/campsite campground. Then you have basic campground camping, which requires a permit for every camper that is 18 or older. Lastly, there is dispersed camping. This is camping outside of campgrounds. It also requires a permit for each camper 18 and older. Please visit Basic Camping at Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area for a list of the names of the campgrounds. Also, please review the rules for each type of camping."

It would depend on the plan for me. Is the idea to go up on Friday and stay two nights or early Saturday and stay 1 night? My birthday is that Friday (6/12) so I might not be able to get away if the family has something planned. That being said, if folks want to go up Friday, I could leave early in the morning on Saturday and meet y'all wherever you end up camping.
