Great looking Troopie. I ended up going with 80 series interior to allow for 50/50 split drop downs in the rear.

Interesting, and thanks! I havent set in stone if i want to keep the jump seats or not. Part of me really likes them, the other part of me wants to wait to see how much of a pain they really are.

If you end up selling those side steps and side bars, let me know :) I have an aluminum TJM bumper already, matching aluminum side pieces would be sweet...

Mr Sean,

Digging your build thread. Ill keep that in mind, the plan right now though is to keep them and paint them black to match the ARB front. Can i interest you in a ginormous bumper or a humongoid rack instead?

Haha, man that rack is wild. If I hadn't already bought all the mounting hardware/feet to build my own rack I would consider buying yours and chopping it down to something manageable!

Where do you live? I see your truck came in through Georgia, are you near Florida/Georgia?

Edit, Oops, I see this is in the NC regional forum. Guess you're in North Carolina!

No worries, moved up here from Ft lauderdale, still have fam down there and visit once in a while. Might be headed to the FL gulf side in Sept, Lido beach, might make the drive in the cruiser if timing works.

Some more pics, Looks like im about 2 weeks out barring any more delays.

Soooooo .... Are you going to convert it to a 1HZ-T?

Enquiring minds want to know ;)

Its still a baby at 90k miles, i need to take her on a couple of trips before i drop another 5-6 k. I made a deal with the devil, promised the wife a pool if I could import the troopy.... sooooo not anytime soon? :-)

Will you have it in time to make a run to Cullman?

It will be close, getting off work is another issue. Elbow deep in a migration project that will kill me from lack of sleep for the next month ish.

So if you don't mind me asking the following:

1. Where is the truck currently?

2. Who is working on it and what is being done?

3. Are OEM parts being use or aftermarket? If aftermarket, what sources?

Hey Beno,

The truck is with LCD going through the inspection steps to make it road worthy.
Steve over at LCD and crew are working on it, i do not know which tech(s) specifically.
Aftermarket bumpers and sliders are being installed, suspension is OME, i do not know the sources of the belts and hoses that he is replacing to be honest. I presume the axle refresh kits were either from stock or from Kurt from Cruiser Outfitters.

Ive got you Beno for all my future needs, which im sure will be many. There probably will be a shopping list that I will have to sync up with you on to address major items.
