Steve called me up Saturday evening to see if I wanted to do some wheeling. I was a little nervous because he has a kick A$$ go anywhere rig and I pretty much have a stock open diff Cruiser. But I am down to push myself and the rig and that was a good thing because my Cruiser and I were pushed to the limits. We started off at Buckman OHV and we ran Sidewinder. And then we headed out to Jacumba to run some mountain trails right next to the US / Mexico Border. I made it through Sidewinder with one little strap from Steve that may not have enven been necessary as the strap got tight for only one second and I was off and going. But I did push in my rocker pretty good while paying too much attention to the passenger side and cats and not enough to my driver side. :whoops: I really need to get some sliders fabbed up. Well onto the photos, here is the whole album: Buckman / Jacumba Wheeling

Two Cruisers flexing their way up the trail.

And this is a perfect OH $h!t face while eying the rock fall from the drivers seat.

If your not careful on this trail in Jacumba you will knock your mirror on the border fence.

Wow, you took your rig on Sidewinder and I missed it! Suck!

It's really fun out there. Did Steve take you down to the campground and show you where he and Mo came down the connector?

Now Mark can say that following me will lead to body damage:D

That was the first thing we all did. The general consensus was "I can't believe you guys drove through this"! Ron, with the red XJ had just been down it the prior weekend. He did a little door damage as did another co-worker of mine with an XJ and the Samarai that was with them blew out a window on the tree.

It turned out to be a really great run. We all had fun. The weather went from sprinkles and fog to sun and wind. I would post up a bunch of pics but my Flock browser is giving me grief since I updated it:mad:

Yep no lift, no lockers, no sliders = A little Stupid.... :D

OH YEAH!!! The photos do it NO JUSTICE.... After coming through the 'V' notch you are on a 60 Deg. grade into a sharp right hand turn. I don't even know if I would ride along on that trail let alone take my own rig down it. :steer:

Hey, Eric/sdnative did it without lift and sliders. I believe he is locked however. But hey, you proved it can be done.

Looks like a fun trip, I really like the jacumba area as well, haven't had the 80 at Corral Canyan yet though. Great pictures.
