Nice progress. Looks like everything is fitting pretty well. Can't wait to see the finished product. This is some great weather to be working in. Hopefully your ez-up fits over the truck, and doesn't fall down in the wind:).

I kinda tempted to run a piece of 2x4 across along with the bumper. I'm not overly worried about it as the bumper should be enough but I've got a piece hanging around here so I might just add it. Couldnt get anything started today... I went and picked some goodies. :)

Might have some time tonight...

I'm trying... everytime I have a little extra time my wife comes up with a new project for me. This weekend it was putting together a treadmill, re-arrange the furniture for the treadmill and buiding a garden shed. The good news about the garden shed is that it'll free up some space in my garage so when I do projects I'll actually be able to move around.

Bad news is I'll be in Arizona from Sat. to next Weds. so I wont have time till after that!

You beat me to the post! Either way, can't wait to see it done!

Hmm, just send it over to VT and I'll build it and test it out on my rig for a while, sounds like you dont need the extra work of building the bumper :D

back from the dead.... I know I've been slacking but I've been busy lately. I decided that before welding tube I should practice a bit more... welding and notching. I can weld flat plate pretty well now but tube is a different animal.

First try... I think it was a little hot:

That's looking great! Nice clean lines. Thanks for showing off your lazer drill press, that sure beats eyeballing it. I noticed that we have a similar dent right below the driver rear tail light.
