Yes, right up there at the top of the second to last image - main switch cannot be turned on. I was trying to get my FLIR underneath the dash to see if I could spot any messed up connections, but it's difficult. CAN system is good. CRUISE light is good. Meter / gauge system, individually the stalks (I have two now!) are both fine. Next stop - ECM? Really? I guess I need to get a 12 pack and trace the wire from A to B and see what's going on. I just fear the amount of items I'm going to have to remove to do that.

It COULD be the ECM, but this is the only thing that doesn't work on my vehicle at the moment. Maybe there's an ECM specifically for the cruise control?

Those who have 2008 or pre-13s, when you press the cruise control on/off switch, can you get it to come on in park? What about when in drive while completely stopped?

Q: Did/does Toyota make a steel 17” x 8-9” wheel in 5x150? I’m looking for some inexpensive steelies in 17 for 285/70/17 K02s. I have a ‘16 LC (assume larger rotors) in the US. I’m also open to other manufacturers but multiple internet searches have turned up nothing. I know about RWs and TRD Pros but I don’t want to spend that much.

Here are some part numbers I got from partsouq.
There are 17” Steelies in both oz and Middle East.
They run $130 /rim. Plus shipping. Air freight for 200 lbs of rim is the problem.

More of an annoyance than a question but I've noticed every time I go to open the oil fill cap, its seized on and I have to grab channel locks to loosen it. I change my own oil and barely tighten it back on. Over the oil chance cycle, it's siezed back on there. Anybody else have this issue? First world problems. ....

Same here, every time. Wonder what causes it.

I'm happy to report that replacing the clock spring does indeed fix cruise control problems.

If you're ever in a situation where all steering wheel buttons work, but the cruise control stalk buttons only work sometimes - that may be your issue.

Gotta code today about foreign matter in my wheel speed sensor. Going to undo thr bolt and clean the sensor, rear driver side. Whats best to clean that with? Toyota dealer parts guy said break cleaner, is that legit?

Ttt

Brake cleaner is legit for anything outside the car. Only other option might be electrical contact cleaner.

Hope it isn’t a rear wheel bearing going bad

Its this

That only works with certain items. Sensors are not one of those items.

Works for interns, slick willy.
;)

Speed sensors are typically magnetic and work on the hall effect . If there isn't crud built up on the sensor, check the wheel it reads. May be a build up of gear break in metal

Will a ‘16 OEM suspension kit fit on my ‘13. LC
There’s a CL add in the Bay Area for $200 for complete take off kit. Anyone know if it a MUDDR?

I have a OEM 2013 LC suspension. Less than 30,000 mall crawling miles.
I’m in S.Cal. It’s yours.

The ‘16 has 800 parking lot miles. Or so they say. Just try to see if they would fit although your price sounds nice. ;)

Anyone know if the ‘16s will fit?

sqod. Can someone post. pic of the top of their lx (08-15) windshield where it meets the roof? Just had mine replaced and think I might be missing a moulding but not sure. TIA!
