FSM and manual say that it should be in between those two lines when cold. My preference is to set it at the high line when cold. The only Toyota I cant do that in is my Sienna. If I set it to the full line it will overflow when hot.The orange Engine coolant reservoir is supposed to be at the Full line when the truck is cold and off correct? Mine is just above the Low line, But I have no leaks anywhere. Just making sure.
On my Lexus, I kept topping it off and it kept disappearing. Turns out, there was a crack in the resevoir. Something to check. The orange Engine coolant reservoir is supposed to be at the Full line when the truck is cold and off correct? Mine is just above the Low line, But I have no leaks anywhere. Nothing that I can see, no residue anywhere nor on the driveway. It’s in between the F and L but closer to the L.On my Lexus, I kept topping it off and it kept disappearing. Turns out, there was a crack in the resevoir. Something to check.
Probably time to throw a pressure tester on it to find your leak.Nothing that I can see, no residue anywhere nor on the driveway. It’s in between the F and L but closer to the L.

Yeah thank you. I remember it being at full at the start of winter too. I know there is a Toyota specific “red” coolant, and there is a thread from a long time ago about red vs green. What is everyone using for the red?If it makes you feel better mine is always at L. new radiator, no leaks, radiator is full. 2010 LX.

Anybody have any experience running a hammock from the stock roof rack to a tree? Hammock is an ENO with Atlas straps if that makes any difference. I certainly wouldn’t want to cause any damage by exceeding lateral stress tolerance to the rack.
If so, what’s the best set up or attachment point?
I’ve tried some searches on here but didn’t see anything applicable to the 2016+ stock roof rack specifically.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
While not the experience you might want, from using it as a handrail for some roof box loading, it does not give me the rock solid confidence I’d look for with a full body weight load.
I suppose if you used a self equalizing LDA type of setup on 4 points, one each on the front and back of both bars it would probably work.
I'd find a second tree. Might work but then again not.Yeah that’s exactly why I was wanting to get a second opinion from this great group. While the roof rack is robust, I definitely don’t want to just attach and give it a shot only to rip it off the roof.
I saw a cool hitch mounted set of poles somewhere. It was a few $hundred.I'd find a second tree. Might work but then again not.
Saw that but inhibits use of tailgate? Also saw some that use the wheels as anchors.I saw a cool hitch mounted set of poles somewhere. It was a few $hundred.
