Gold lake OHV camp has space for 32 rigs: 16 sites, 2 vehicles and 6 people each, no reservations though.

There will be no rangers out there checking for max people or trucks. If someone is out there on Thursday or Friday I don't think we'd have an issue with getting 3-4 sites.

how about Hollister in 2 weeks? GF wants to meet my parents in Livermore and we might be able to meet up and wheel for a day. ill try and get Darrell and a buddy to go too. id be game for lakes basin next week maybe though, idk how my schedule looks for truckee then. mtn runs up here all depend on snow levels but its not supposed to snow. gonna get to the 60s next week apparently

Seriously though, I've been following this thread because I wanted to see this area and meet some of you all, but the dates just happened to conflict with the other thing I've done every summer, going on 50 years now .
