Spring shop

Can anyone recoomend a spring shop in Albuquerque? I would like to have my FJ 60 OME springs built up and some more lift.

I looked in the book and there seem to be two shops that do that kind of work. McBrides and New Mexico spring. Does anyone have any experience with these shops ot have another one?

was NM spring on 2nd street? i think they used to be called Jackson Spring. i've had ubolts made on the spot at Jackson's to my specs. never had spring work done though.

I've used McBrides a few times. Are you having springs made or having them re-arched? If you want more lift I think you are better off putting your money into new springs.

The springs I have are brand new with less than 2,000 miles on them. I don't feel like spending another 1200.00 on new springs.

I've used McBride's for U-bolts. They did a good job with those.

Get ahold of tobascophish - I know he had some beefed up at a local shop.

Thanks . I will reach out for Tabascofish. I called new Mexico Spring and he said I could get more load capacity and lift for less than 500.00.

I've used McBride's for a lot of stuff (mostly having to do with the dump truck).

I've always been impressed with their shop and service. I'd send my sister there for work, that's how much I like them. (for the record: I get along well with my sister)
