Been meaning to get my wife to test drive a stock 200 or LX570. She's thinking van but hoping a test drive might change that...

Don't get your hopes up...a minivan goes a long way with little ones. I was driving my '04 Sienna that work owns...just 108k on it and beat to crap from my catering staff, but still a decent vehicle to drive that is cavernous and gets decent MPG...

+1 on a minivan. Growing up we had an '06 Sienna that my mom put 280k miles on with zero issues. She sold it a few years ago and everything was working on it.

At the end of the day whatever she wants is what she’ll get. Not my place to tell her what she wants or can drive other than within budget. Just want her to test drive a stock 200 before making a decision

Ahh, you are very wise young Jedi!

If you want it to work test drive an lx570 with her. That's how I was able to convince the wifey we needed it.

Don't forget to mention how it has easy access mode that lowers the car to made loading and unloading kids a lot easier. For the safety standards there's enough posts in the 200 section of people getting in crazy accidents with family and everyone being safe.

Arizona drivers out here eating snow like it's nuthin'. Who woulda thought? #3rdGen

I spotted a truck I haven't seen in 25 years. I was digging through some of my Dad's records and found this photo of the first Land Cruiser I ever drove. I didn't think any photos of it existed. This one is getting framed and getting hung on the wall.

In 1994, I was living with my then-girlfriend, now wife, in Tallahassee, Florida. My father called to tell me that he had seen a real neat truck at the Toyota dealership in Culpeper which he tried to buy from the owner, but the owner would not sell. He tried finding one in Virginia but they were either rust buckets or too expensive. He asked if I could look in Florida.

I found this truck in the classifieds. It only had a little surface rust on the bed and that was it, so bought it from the college student who owned it for $3,000. Dad was tickled and mailed me the tags and $50 in gas money, and Rhea and I drove that truck around for about 2 months before my parents came south to pick it up. Dad ended up joining the club in 94-95 and making friends with James Asti.

My father ended up selling it about 5 years later to make room for a Porsche 356, and the purchaser was a National Geographic photographer who said he was going to ship it overseas for a multi-year assignment. It was a cool truck.
