saw one a few weeks ago in Falls Church...to me the rear in person isn't too different, black or maybe the angle might not be doing it justice but didn't stick out as some wildly new 4runner, looks like the same thing.

The cargo windows wrap onto the roof like the 2nd gen ones did

Only pic I got but two white 4Runners with bronze wheels so I must be doing something right, and a 76? long bed troopy leaving the airport in San Diego today

Two 4x series in the new mission impossible. 45 and a 4x troopy

Didn’t expect to see any LCs in Paris but I was pleasantly surprised…

First heavy duty 70 I’ve actually seen in the wild.

This 300 was bulletproofed and had all kinds of antennas and lights. The pic doesn’t show it that well but it was actually dark blue instead of black, looked really good in person.

Saw maybe the cleanest 100 I’ve ever seen at Cruisers on the Rockies 2. Bone stock with the exception of tires and Dissent rock sliders. If you know, you know.

In case you didn’t know, for the 80/100, the moonroof was listed as optional equipment for every LC/LX, but virtually every example sold in the mainland US has one. For some reason, the Hawaii (and maybe Guam) distributor ordered their trucks without a moonroof, so if you want a US 80/100 without it, it’s gonna have to come from there. Extremely rare, and the bronze color is rare too, and an additional quirk is that it has leather seats but they aren’t heated.

I was expecting it to have like 70k miles but the owner showed me the odometer with 360k! Says he bought it in Hawaii in 2003 with 50k miles on the clock. There were lots of crazy builds at Crockies but this is probably my favorite spot there.
