You mean that diamond plate screwed over rust is not stock. I would argue that it is at least a dealer option for a 70 series.

Talked to a great guy that has an 80 lifted expo style out in Lenexa. He sees a 80 diesel conversion (all toyota) out by Costco in Lenexa every so often. Said this guy did a full conversion from a half or some inport deal.

The guy driving always has a indiana jones sytle leather hat on. Anyone heard of this?

Took my sis to Ninfa's down on Kansas Ave and was going around the block and saw this parked. When I slowed down to gawk at it a couple guys in the back yard were looking at me like "wth are you looking at" - - it was either that or "hey another Toyota guy!"

I should have stopped, but we were on a schedule.

On Thursday I spotted a green 80 @151st & Blackbob in Olathe.
It had sliders, baja rack, and locking hubs. I couldn't tell if it had a lift but I know it was rolling on stock rubber. I would assume the owner is on here.

No snorkel that I recall I see so many on here though that I really wasnt focused on it. In the picture it doesnt look like it. I did see a lifted 80 drive down my street the other day same color, just need to locate it.

Dune Biege FJ40 in S. OP

I saw a dune biege FJ40 headed North on Quivira near 143rd this morning about 10:15. For the first time in several months I was in my truck instead of the 40. Figures!

Had a Lexus parked next to me when I came out from a funeral home at 123rd and State Line. Had a flat black paint job, looked like 33's with some lift, ARB front bumper, and a roof rack. Is this someone on here? I was in my truck instead of the LC.

Yep. Nice find. One was on the 80 board in Colorado. Most folks over there had never seen one either. Don't think it was legally here.

my 80 in kuwait had amby's they are not as good a design as the tailgate imo. still cool
