Found this 40 when I was avoiding traffic in Leawood. Owner pulled up as I got out my truck to look at it. Real nice interior, Chevy engine. Gave him one of the cards that Rob made for us and invited him To smorr
What part of Leawood? I'd like to see that one, it looks like it's at least as old as mine with the vent under the windshield.
This was me but I sold the truck to some guy in NC a few weeks ago.
Out on 159th St between Blackbob and Pflumm there is an orange FJ40 that looks to be in pretty good shape. Guys also appears to have a few additional classic cars

No picture but I was following a SUPER clean 40 yesterday on HWY 7 northbound. It was tan, top and doors were off KS fire fighter plates. Cleanest 40 I've seen in person.

I've seen the same one on 151st. The dude drives pretty fast with his foot out the door!

Being new back in Wichita after 10 years, I don't know who has what. On East Central at Edgemoor, therein always a tan FJC and sometimes a blue 40 parked in a lot. I work near there, so see them daily.

did they come in tan? That looks like a desert tan redo... COOL.
Certainly don't think they did. It looked stock height with street tires, so not sure if the owner is on here. Not sure who made the swings, but they looked pretty good.
I saw this while downtown Wichita today on the wrecker. Looks like its heading to the junk yard if anyone is looking for some 1st gen parts. I think you can read contact info on the truck from the picture (at least that was my goal)
I saw this nice 80 in front of Office Depot in northeast Wichita last Friday decked out with Slee sliders, ARB front, Slee rear bumper. I went in to shop and happened to see the driver getting in. I say, "nice Land Cruiser."
She says, "thanks, my husband knows a guy in Colorado that puts on cool things to Toyota's."
