Toroweap is where we've gone for day runs....awesome views....down is 90ish miles, back is 110ish (via Mt Trumbull). I've camped there once too, simply spectacular. Great stop for lunch. It CAN be chilly, so plan ahead :)

We'll discuss Friday eve and see what the plan is....I'm up for it, I just know my speed/ride in the BJ74 won't be the same as with the GX or the 80 :)

We can always fit restrictor plates :hillbilly:

I'm in, and excited to meet all of you! I plan on leaving after work tomorrow, and Junction for the night. I hope to meet up with whoever else wants to join and caravan out in the morning. I also was looking forward to the North Rim cruise, but am game for whatever (within reason).

ETA for us is noon Friday. My 74, Sarah's 80 and the Kimberley. We'd like to set up at headquarters (space available). The trailer footprint is roughly 13 x 19 feet with the canvas deployed.

Gonna make some roasted kohlrabi for the potluck. First time for me and probably for you but I’m feeling adventurous! Will be cruising out with @SkiBum506 early Friday from GJ with hopes of arriving by noon but we shall see. Psyched!!

If all goes well, I'll get out of Boulder by 4 today...maybe. My current plan being, get as far as I can tonight, stopping somewhere to camp on the 191, hopefully beyond Moab. Tomorrow morning getting up as early as possible and hitting the road, continuing down the 191, to the 95, then to the 276 across Halls Crossing and Lake Powell, then up Notom-Bullfrog for some dirt, connecting to the Burr trail over to Boulder and the UT 12. Then just pavement to the 89 and going through Zion on the 9 dropping into Toquerville tomorrow afternoon.

At least that's the crazy plan currently. (Can you tell I need a good trip?)

@woody any idea what the conditions would be at Bull Creek Crossing on Bullfrog? I'm struggling to find good past precipitation reports for the area, I'm worried about how much mud there might be.

Our county has has .01" of precip this month...the entire state is low/very low on moisture for the month. I wouldn't anticipate issues.
