Got most of the parts In. Worked on parking break It now is functioning. Next step is to put my thinking cap on and figure on how to use my new brackets. Alternator and power steering. If I can't find what I need on mud Georg you might be getting a call soon.

Few pics. Jrob has inspired me to get mine painted soon. Soooo today I ordered a family cage kit and front hoop from Metal Tech. Free shipping is awesome! Get it put in and proceed to paint. By the way I do have a cage for sale I will be posting up.

I think I have figured out the alternator bracket have to trim a little and get the right bolts. The pulley on the alt is not in line with the waterpump pulley. It does line up with the big groove of the harmonic balancer. Do I need a different pulley or do I just run a belt from alt to HB?
Second this is the reason some people do not need a welder!!!!
My power steering pump pulley is way off and I need a new pulley but I don't think I will be able to get the old one off due to PO welding it on the shaft! Gonna TRY
? does anyone know what pulley I need? If I need a new pump are all the GM pumps the same or is there a certian one I need to get.

You might be able to use a double pulley from an FJ62 alt. It looks like it might line up. I know someone who has one.
Sorry I have not had a chance to test the wiper gear. I'll try to get to it soon. What I may do is just get it to Bomar so he can get it to you and you can decice if it can work for you.
I'm using a "metric" saginaw pump & pulley from a mid 80s Volvo 240. With Georg's bracket, it lines up great.

I talked to Georg today and looked through tech and will most likely go this route. Thanks for the info.
