I have a throttle linkage not throttle cable??
Yea well when you don't specify the year and market it could be anything. I'm like the 8th owner of my usa 72 FST that I have had since 83. It came with a 76 hardtop, delco dizzy and a rochester carb - PO's can do lots of stuff. Then there is factory changes where the cowl vent opening is there but it blocked off and is no longer functional. So maybe it was change to linkage or was at the transition for cable.

Thank you. Mine is a 1982, I guess it had an aftermarket cable installed at some point.
but it looks like oem weld nuts?
do the diesels have mech linkage or cables? wondering if its an all for one, one for all type thing.
i have them on my 75, but i had a weber with a cable a lifetime ago, and cant recall if they were there or if i put them there.

Can tell it has a collapsible steering column. Most likely a US import originally? This is a 3/82 US import tub. Has the same fixed nuts without the larger hole in the center. Have a late model gas pedal with the hand throttle setup. May use the two threaded holes for a bracket to support the end of the hand throttle cable but would not require the center hole.

Has welded nuts so definitely factory.
Those holes are for the throttle cable bracket on models equipped with that option. This was a south american 1981 fj45 troopie. Mine was missing the actual cable, it was broken.
