Bellhousing swap in the campsite tomorrow morning
Bellhousing swap in the campsite tomorrow morning
I’ll be rolling into town shortly. Need a supervisor?
I’m sitting in camp staring the sky now
Yeah... probably not happening... saw pics of the huge amount of people at KOA. That looks like a Petri dish to me.
Better stay away then.
I’m here so it’s extra filthy.
Jeez, what happened?!Well spent all morning beating out dents. Manged to get it to the point where I can roll up all the windows all the way except the right front one. Still has a 2" gap. Went to Montrose to get the plexiglass to make a crooked windshield. About to start on that project if anyone has some tips.

Lexan is so much easier to work with, it can be easily cut, drilled etc... plexiglass doesn’t like a saw, a jig saw, circular saw, table saw . It doesn’t like traditional drill bits. It shatters
If you can find a dremel with a router bit or a angle grinder in camp use it. You can also use a utility knife and score it.
I just had to outfit 7 commercial buildings with shields. Materials were scarce. So I was forced to deal with plexi vs Lexan on some of it and learned way more than I ever learned in shop class about plexi. The thicker plexi 3/16” , 1/4” is a little
More forgiving though. But I ruined many pieces experimenting before I finally started using a router to cut it.
The glass companies use a glass scoring sheet cutter to cut it, the kind with a large bar to lay into it
Don’t even attempt to use a sawsall even with a metal blade.
VERY sorry this happened Jarod. No video but here are a couple of pictures of your aftermath. Your attitude is great! Looking forward to seeing you make progress on your truck.Rolled its side on Poughkeepsie. I know John's wife got some pictures and I think video of the recovery.
Thanks John. Since all this COVID has happened I decided to take the time to self-improve. Started studying Buddhism and learning the philosophies it teaches. So when bad things happen I just take a minute to myself focus on my attitude because it is the only I can control this world.VERY sorry this happened Jarod. EDIT: @Manitou Decline Jarod, just asked Maureen about any videos...she has none of your flop but has some of the recovery efforts. Stop by 47A and we can ‘Air Drop’ them to your phone. (If you have an iPhone)
