Yes sir. Still running the truck every weekend when I am home from working out of town. Getting ready to start piling the miles up as I transfer back home in January.

To do list keeps getting smaller. PM for anything I have not included. Full disclosure: I like this truck a lot. I will have great things to say about it other than the rust on the rear quarter panels. I don't like the rust on the rear quarter panels.

Attached this to the back. Friend just got it. Too bad I could not drive away with it and go to the woods.

Ok. Summer is coming and I am going to start looking to build up the 80 and 100 series. All offers entertained above $10,100 for this fine specimen of a 60 series. Cash, check, sliders for said 80 or 100 series, or consumables/ammo and the like. Make me an offer, best I can do for the forseable future.

The 100 is staying (wife) and the 80 needs fixed up too much to sell right now. It would make sense to complete the wiring harness in the 80 and put it up for sale. I still want them all. Am I being selfish? (Asked on a Land Cruiser Forum).

240,120 miles now. Been daily driving Buster. Developed a real liking for the whine of the H55F transmission.

I'd say you should just keep the 60 @Comet! 80's are a dime a dozen and good 60's are hard to find..especially one with a H55!

oh and I think I have that same hitch carrier!! Super solid and really well made!

I am torn daily when I hoist my fat bottom into the drivers seat. My loving and adorable bride believes in safe reliable transportation that is comfortable and provides little surprise from point A to point B. I can’t disagree that a Camry gets the job done quite well.

There is just something to be said about wrenching on a legend to the point you know most every part. There is no other feeling when you pull the choke, pump the gas a few times, count to twenty, and mash the starter. Turn, turn, turn and vroom!!!!

You may have a point about the 60 and my 80.

I drove her 100 series through foul weather to work this week. 120 uneventful miles.

Rambling now.

I really think you should. I'm sure the 80 series is really nice too, but I have a feeling you'll sell buster and be kicking yourself on why you didn't sell the 80. What all does the 80 need? Post a picture of it!!

I need to finish installing the new wiring harness and baseline it again. I was working on it until the day I got Buster. Haven’t done a thing except install the cloth seats from older 80 series generations. The 80 has fallen off my radar to the point I don’t even have pictures of it on my phone. That should tell me something right there.

Rockwell Fumagali circa 1984. They were silver rims with gold interior and black rivets before the sandblasting and battleship grey rattle can.

If that's not telling you to keep Buster Brown...I don't know what is.

Look forward to seeing your 80 for sale ad. I'll put in a good word for ya!

Offers welcome. Going to Relic Run with Olde North State Cruisers in April and GSMTR in May. See it in person and say hi to my dog Rufus.

Bump, see first post for price. Olde North State Cruisers puts on a great event at Uwharrie National Forrest in Troy, NC at the end of April. Buster will be marketed aggressively after the event.

Roanoke, VA. Kris, remember to see that Buster is De-Smogged. I will throw in the Patina for free though!

Hey @Comet can you post up some pics of all the rust spots? What's left on this one?

The little devil in my head is talking..
