I hate to be "debbie downer" here, but I don't see how "no drilling" is going to work on the MWB cruisers that are originally FRP equipped. I am interested in seeing how this is going to work out.

The SWB 70 series are equipped for soft tops already, at least the ones being pictured in this thread are. Don't forget the front windshield frame too...FRP version doesn't have the channel.

Regardless...those soft tops are so nice. Love the way they look.

Agreed. That is the challenge. We intend to make it absolutely drill free by developing a system for the front windshield to incorporate the frame and the top :-)

Just received my top and frame! Thanks 4060seriesnut! I will do a detailed pic install next week or so... go back to work tomorrow for a week or so will get it done when I get back..

what price are you asking for the soft tops
The entire kit consists of 12 pieces of hardware for the Soft-top frame, which has OEM Toyota spares from the SWB 70 Series, while the rest we fabricate to accommodate the increased length of the MWB 73 and 74. It then consists of three pieces of our premium TopSoft cover, which has removable windows (hence the three parts instead of a single one). There is no drilling required and the frame sits on the OEM slots and holes of the FRP top. Also the top has no zips, only Velcro to ensure a great fit.
We then send it via Fedex, which takes barely 4-5 days to reach North America.
We’re asking $2,500 for the entire kit including shipping, and payments are via Paypal.
Thanks :-)

I am curious how does the top attach to the top of the front windshield. Velcro there too?

Thank you for sharing the detailed photos. Makes sense to me how it all works now.

You're welcome :-)
The real test begins when @CRZR45 (who has received his kit) and @jetswim (his top is on the way, should reach this week!) install their respective tops/hardware. It frankly all depends on their feedback.

We were lucky enough to have a BJ73 at our disposal to make sure the dimensions are right (no rocket science there though. We've been making BJ70 tops since it came out in the 80s, the only difference was the increase in the length, the height and the width obviously remain the same). Our highly skilled craftsmen were very particular about how this would operate on high-speeds, hence all potential slots were sealed with velcro tighteners to make sure the top isn't an irritant at high speeds!
