Let's just make the official departure time from the meet spot noon. That way people who hit traffic can make it. Then we drive to Dos Palmas and to the campsite.
 
Well, officially out.

In-laws are coming down this weekend for their 60th anniversary. Late notice on their part, but I couldn't ask for better, nicer in-laws for the past 27 years.

Besides, I just blew my budget for sinks and faucets this afternoon at Pacific Sales, so $200-250 worth of gas savings is a must at this point.

So far the odd electrical issue i was having appears to be bad body grounds. I cleaned things up and all looks good (knocking on wood now). If my luck continues i will see you guys at noon on Friday. On a side note, is anyone up for a potluck on Saturday?
 
I think with 50+ people its going to be chaotic getting any type of pot luck going... but i was thinking we could do a private smoking section .. and no im not talking about Gonja lol.... Sean.. i could bring my ribs , were you still doing a tri tip? How many levels does your smoker have on it? Maybe i should haul out my big smoker :D
 
If you guys are cooking up some meat I can grab some German Potato salad and maybe some rolls or something from Siesel's Old Fashioned meat market.

Sounds good to me! I had hoped to do some pulled pork but probably will not get to it. So I will probably do some smoked tri tip. I will count u in!

I won't feel like cooking both nights but as long as somebody feeds me Saturday, I plan on doing adobada and carne asada street tacos, which I could certainly do Friday night.:beer:

Anyone plan on heading out from LA/OC Saturday AM? I plan on being on the road probably by 4-5 AM

I was going to try and leave Friday night.. but circumstances are forcing me to leave on Saturday.
