SoCal 80's Logo & T-Shirts

I am keeping all the information together so everyone can find it without searching all over.

Favorite so far is like the Surf N Turf previously posted by Bluto (Thanks) with SoCal 80's on top and In Search Of The Perfect Trail on the bottom. In between an image like the 40 but an 80, well set up with a couple of long boards on a safari rack on top. If we went with a format like that it would be 3 colors. We can change the orange and tan around if everybody wants to I think the black is a given as is. Following is a list of people who are in so lets hear some feed back from those who haven't spoken up yet or speak up if you are not in yet and want to be. Depending on where we have the shirts actually silk screened we might do best to make extras to sell later. I imagine it would be easier than trying to have multiple small batches made.

I wanted to be kind and not guess the wrong way. Two 2 @ 2XL then.

:flipoff2: Kidding 2 @ XL, got you down. :flipoff2:

I got the Durabak today, don't think I will have time to get it on before Big Bear though.

Will do, thank you very kindly.

I was reading my Toyota Trails and read the page that had the club listings. All of their logo's are around the type print. In looking at them all I was thinking ours might look better with just the SoCal 80's and the image. What do you all think?

I would like to see a final design before i commit

Thanks

Of course! I am just trying to get a general idea so we can have someone with graphic design skills make it up for final approval before we do any shirts or stickers.

I like the last idea, and will buy an XL. I've got a lot of white T-shirts already, and since we may actually use these on runs, should we consider a more dirt-hiding color? Either way, count me in.

Steel blue is a good color. We used it on our Moab 2005 company shirts and it turned out great.

Good thinking DirtyRice Joe, Tare I like that color as well. Perhaps a light grey also to have two to choose from. Like the color of the shirt Brent was wearing on Sat.

As long as we're tossing out ideas, graphite (med/dark gray) makes a nice looking t-shirt, as well.

Medium is actually more of what I was thinking, see post #19 and the shirt that Brent is wearing. Sheesh! First day with SoCal 80's and you already beat me to what I wanted to say in the first place. :flipoff2:

I like this line of thought on the colors. Basically, the closer to the color of grease, the better.:D

Before I got a real job and got married my wardrobe consisted of black tee shirts and blue jeans... for that reason....

I agree. Should we submit our thoughts thus far to your wife Dan, I think she said that she could have the design part done as well or should we have FirstToy do it Brent?
