Should I buy it? It's a UC members ride. It's hard to let the Jeep go.
Don't know anything about that particular 80 but my bet is that you'll love an 80 once you get one!! Be patient and wait for the right one and you'll be set!!
80 series > Jeep.
The 80 sure would make for a nice family pic with the 40 and the 55.

Yes it would that is why I decided to buy it. As some of you know I have been looking for an 80 for about 2 months now. The Jeep even with 140 on the odometer is showing it's age. Still a good reliable vehicle. But it's time to part ways.
CC has been nice enough to sell me her 80. I have been driving it for almost a week. It has been a great experience and a very nice well maintained Cruiser.
So now I will have something to drive with A/C to non wheeling events.

Never. One lifted modded vehicle in the family is enough. Plus I told CC I would take good care of it. Somebody is this club has got to have a few stock vehicles so we can actually see how they rolled off the line when new.

I think they plan on roughing it for a while in that little pop up Ken had at Tellico.

Jeep has always been a sore spot when it comes to club events. But it has never been in the shop in the 140k I have on it. There is nothing that can make up for the raw in the seat pants of a V-8 in a little car like that, that is only 2wd. It's kind of like driving around in a mustang.
But it needs to go.
I bought it (the replacement twice removed) two years ago.......my 2005 UZJ100
It's definitely a 
ride and we will miss the 80. I love to just look at the damn thing!! Anyway, with our upcoming cross-country trip in the 'pop-up' camper and two LCs that can not be towed 4 down, we decided to store the 100 and sell the 80. We couldn't have chosen a better successor for her second home. I hope she will be happy and treat her new family well.
