Last time we left at 8 from Crawfords so we could get to Snowbird, check in, have a drivers meeting and be wheeling by 9. Steen made the drive with his daughter. They were both a bit tired!

Hmm, Friday evening in Murphy maybe...

6-ish,I hope, never works when you're on the trail...hope for before dark.

There is no way to be definite on a time when I'm scouting a trail that I've never been down before and don't know the exact length and condition. "6-ish" is the best I can estimate. Hopefully it will be hours earlier but you never know. If it turns into a night run then on come the lights. :steer::steer:

Booked a room in Murphy for Friday, cabin at Crawfords for Saturday.

Truck is under the knife now. Things are lining up!

Attendees list has been updated. I started packing last night. Yes, a heater will be packed for this trip. We still have room for several people on Saturday, and plenty of room on Friday and Sunday.

I confirmed my hotel reservation in Murphy for Friday and my cabin for Saturday. Good to go for Saturday only wheeling.

Tool are packed. Found my old radios, getting a new handheld CB (arrives today). iPod is loaded with driving music.

Just have to figure out drinks, lunch on Saturday, and get cash to pay for everything.

Debating on merlot or rum and cokes...maybe both?

I'll have cheap Merlot - bring rum and coke.

Lunch on Saturday will be at Buzzards Roost. It is a rock outcropping with an awesome view. Bring something you can carry about 150 feet to the rock.

We don't drink cheap merlot son. We will supply our own. Will talk to the wife this evening.

I think we will probably have a light lunch with a bigger bfast in town on Sat AM. Some cured meats, cheeses, crackers, water, soft drinks. Easy to pack, smaller cooler, etc.

I need a fridge...damn, I need to get this truck built faster :)

Thank god someone is bringing the cheese. The wine just won't go well with just ritz crackers. And by god someone bring a good cheese slicer this time.
