I don't have any experience with snorkels but it looks pretty solid. ST080A brings up a number of links but google shopping draws a blank. So far, the eBay listing is all I can easily find as a source to buy it from. $155.90 with 9 listed available. Everything has been consistent with the listing and delivery.

Now I have a snorkel that looks pretty solid for $156. I'm not unhappy at this point.

Ha ha. I will, I will. Not sure when, though. Maybe this weekend, maybe not. I'll get it on and get pics as soon as possible. Need to go buy that round cutting drill bit thingy.

Looks identical to what Diego355 got, so I'm not worried.

I was going to go to Ace and take the snorkel with me to size it up with the "drill bit thingy". Hole Saw, thanks. What, you couldn't tell I'm a master mechanic? j/k

you'll need a 3 1/4 inch hole saw which is a 82.5 mm unit
and a 11/32in bit for the other holes 8.5 mm while your there or a 3/8 for a little more wiggle room

Just got it at Ace. About $16-$17 for the 3.25" hole saw. Have the rest of the stuff already.

No excuses now, I guess.

Except the rivets. I don't have a rivet gun. I don't mind buying one, but I'm not sure what the rivets are for in this kit. Anyone?

The 3.25" hole saw will be perfect. It's a hair wider than the snorkel extension piece.

I know this is just speculation without 007 verification or chemical analysis, but I still believe this is the exact same snorkel made on the exact same manufacturing equipment as Safari Snorkels. I believe the Chinese just deactivated the name imprinting part of the manufacturing process. That makes a whole lot more sense than the Chinese creating the manufacturing equipment just to make knock off snorkels at a lower quality.

Really, do you think the Chinese employed engineers and scientists to analyze a Safari snorkel and create equipment to replicate it and create a new, cheaper chemical composition? Or do you think the Chinese just went to the plant where Safari snorkels are made and said, in Chinese, "Hey, run me off 100 or 1000 of these without the Safari name on it." ? Really? I'm just not going to be easily persuaded that this is anything but a Safari snorkel without the name. Though, I'll happily concede when offered proof to the contrary.

If you can, please post closeups of each hole drilled on the A-Pillar

It seems most guys with install threads are either too lazy to snap pix or embarrassed of drilling extra holes to get it lined up

Ha ha. I haven't been perfect about that, like with the Herculiner, but I'll try to remember this time. If people don't mind a ton of pics, I can put up a bunch. I just bought this white paint pen tonight which I plan to use for this and other remaining projects. Hopefully there won't be any re-drilling.
