Got mine today and it looks great! Fitment wise, I would say 91%. As others have stated, I had to stretch it just a tad to fit over the headlight mounting spots. As for the sides, there is a slight gap between the headlights and the grill but it's nothing to be worried about. (Haven't driven it yet to see if it would make noise).

I had to cut quite a bit of the 2 brackets and drill new holes right behind the slotted original hole

Final product looks great.

As others have said, the fitment is about 90%. I had two tabs arrive broken but made it work. There is some gap on either side of the bottom corners as someone else mentioned. I had to really stretch to get things to line up.

I'm still quite happy as it's a step up from OEM and a TON better looking than the TRD style grill for the 470.

Glad to see so many Yota squad. I'm also hella jealous of your stock HIDs.

Pfft. Gaps? Added airflow yo. Haha.

Seriously. Looks good on black.

Hey guys!

Thanks so much for the comments, pics and shop talk!

We *will* get a video posted soon and give a bit more step-by-step instruction on the light install, but you are all on the right track!

In regards to the guys that have shipping damage (and we've had a handful) we have new replacements being packed (even better!) and shipping out this week (most likely tomorrow). If you've had an issue, you've more than likely gotten an e-mail / response from us however you contacted us. If you have an issue (whatever it is) feel free to drop a DM with your name, Order # and pics of the damage/concerns.
So everyone with shipping damage doesn't feel bad, I ordered an F-Sport grill from Lexus and picked it up at the dealership. It was rattling around in the box with nothing more than a plastic bag for packaging, and yep, a broken tab :(. Next one I ordered got bubble-wrapped by the dealership guys before shipping it to my house. It happens, these are fragile and hard to pack well.

As you and Theozman mentioned about stretching it to fit, I hope that that doesn't cause a load/stress point at that mounting point and break.
Can it be relaxed with a heat gun? Or when you say you "stretched" it, was it with a heat gun or literally just flexed it to fit.

I didn't use a heat gun but just a little pressure by hand. Time will tell i suppose. I don't want to be taking a heat gun to modify a product like this. If mounting ends up braking the grill, that's a manufacturing issue in my mind. But that hasn't happened and I trust it won't!

I didn't use a heat gun. the mounting tab was off by 1/8 - 1/4 of an inch off so it wasn't too bad.

Just wanted to chime in and thank EVERYONE again for their photos and continued input.

We will review the tolerances and see if any changes can be made... but so far, everyone that has received their grille in good conditon has installed without any (major) issues. As mentioned, we did have a fair number break in transit (so far we're hovering around 10) and have been sending replacements even before filing claims with FedEx so you guys don't have to wait. We have also been keeping up with DMs, emails, and IG messages - so if anyone hasn't gotten a reply - please reach out again.

Funny you should say that. I ordered a few samples grilles from Lexus in the run up to this project (and the facelift GX460) and had a similar experience. One dealership actually made the comment "I can't ship it to you, unless you want it to arrive in pieces" and I didn't really understand what he meant at the time... now I do! 😢😆🤦‍♂️

We are doing our best to update the packaging to ensure this doesn't happen again.

But again, thanks for your patience. We're learning as we go. 🙏

Which is why I was super lucky my f sport grille and surround trim arrived without any shipping damage!

Ok it’s on. My first impressions below.

1. It looks fantastic, even better than the 470 with that TRD grille. Looks almost factory.
2. The bottom flops around less than my f sport grille so at higher speeds I don’t have worry about it flopping around too much since I’m not using the factory bumper.
3. Not sure if the 2010’s factory radiator brackets are different but I had to heavily modify mine. Cut more than the half moon off and bore out the screw/bolt holes larger with a file.
4. I HIGHLY recommend boring out the far outboard tab bolt holes a bit so you don’t have to “stretch” it to get it to fit. It won’t take much but trust me, too much tightness and the tabs WILL break. This goes for the name plate, don’t over tighten the screws.

Overall I’m quite satisfied.

WOW! That looks awesome!! 😍
Looks like a 2022 model, or at least how a 2022 should look!

What we’re learning is it looks absolutely baller on every black rig and just depends on the bumper setup on other colors. I’m still happy enough with it on my Knight’s Armour Pearl but I think once I make the rig a bit more aggressive, it’ll fit in even better.

That’s an interesting point.

Update to my broken tab: got a replacement, packaging was a little better and box is bigger to absorb some FedEx abuse(yes that's a boot print on the box). Still had some barely visible scuff on the corner where it poked through the packaging but no broken tabs. Ideally would have liked a perfect piece but want these guys to stay in business and keep making gx products so I'm calling it good

FedEx is truly reprehensible. I mean a bloody BOOT PRINT?!

The package damage from FedEx vs USPS and UPS is staggering. Rarely do I get damage from USPS and UPS.

I haven't seen it in a while, so I don't know if it's still in use, but I used to see large products that had an expanding foam of some kind that would "mold" around the product perfectly. If I remember correctly, they'd take plastic bags and put them in the cavity between the product and the space around it in the box. Then they'd fill the plastic bag with this expanding foam. The product was literally locked in the box with plenty of cushion all around.

Wonder if these guys can do a little research and package their grills like that. Guarantee they will never see another returned product because of shipping damage!
