Old japanese made thermal arc 185tswNice what machine are you using?
Hmm sounds special lolOld japanese made thermal arc 185tsw
I purchased a fj40 to fj80 kit from @cruisermatt that worked perfectly. If you look thru the pics you can see we cut out the whole section of the frame and welded the plates and sleeves in the. Worked great“One question that I have that might already be answered here on the thread is that if I want to go to an 80 series steering box and I have an 84 what is the typical protocol? I assuming drilling and sleeving the frame, but is there a thread on this somewhere?”
I’ve asked the same question before .. there no thread that I’m aware of. But yes I’m told it doable by drilling and sleeving holes. Maybe add a plate on the inside?
If you attempt.. please post what you encounter and come up with!
Ha I didn't check. Is it on both sides?
Maybe not if using a different transmission but I am not experienced enough to speak on that.Yikes that's what it takes to get an 80 series case in a 60 series?
Yeah it was a something that had to happen.damn i didnt know you needed to cut the floor to fit it!
