Uhhhh. No. A lower watt 9005 will not outperform a 9011. Been there long time ago.

I might have mixed up 05/06 and 11/12, the point being a brighter bulb with more lumens doesn’t mean better performance if the bulb isn’t matched correctly for the reflector.

just an update here that i saw massive improvements on my high beams with 9011's already in there but low beams were still not sufficient.
so i modified (slightly cut the top tab on each bulb) from a pair of 9012's and ow see massive improvements on low beams.
initially last weekend with high beams on (old 9011's) some guy on an undivided two lane at night flashed me for having them on from what seemed like half a mile away. that would have never happened without the harness.
now with 9012 instead of 9006 in the low beam slot low beams light up a sign two blocks away. also no where as bright previously without the upgraded bulbs even with the harness.
anyway i see i have some more good info to go through here and also want to link to the couple of pictures i took showing altering the tab here: quick one on headlight bulbs - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/quick-one-on-headlight-bulbs.1116380/page-2
no headlights, low beams and high beams for reference below. i think the forum uploads very low res images so its hard to see but with 9911/9012 and slee harness i think it is what i needed.
again thanks to all for helping me parse the topic. bulbs in particular i find tricky.

Thank you for the heads up on CruiserParts.net. I will read up a bit. I have ordered from them twice in the last few months (small parts) and have not had any issues, maybe I just got lucky.

I just reached out via the website to ask Slee when their harness may be in stock again. Will report back if hear anything.

I recently asked Slee this question. They said its not discontinued, but are working w/ a new harness supplier and it could be Q3 or Q4 2026 before they have a supply.

I've been waiting for them to restock for awhile. I could build by own, or buy a generic harness, but I like the custom aspect of Slee and i don't have to figure out wire lengths, etc.

Is there a wiring diagram anywhere to do this?
slee has very detailed instructions and JH posted a link to his very detailed explanation of how to get auxiliary lighting to a heater switch inter cab i think.
i could send you the former info can find it but might be on slees site.
maybe JH can post his thread and what it covers. if not i can find it so bug me if you don't see it posted.

jon posted this for auxiliary lighting.
for the slee harness it is pretty much connect to hot pole and a ground, connect sockets to bulbs (or to harness) and another ground at the passenger side.
did you need the slee instructions? or dimensions for making your own harness?
Sorry, my question was a little vague. I was looking for a wiring diagram for the slee harness itself, I do have the instructions.

Or better yet, since I have Depo headlights, a wiring diagram to make the low beam bulb switch to high beam when the high beams are on and have the headlights powered directly like the slee harness. I have seen a couple people add a harness to the slee harness to make this happen, but no actual wire diagrams.

I got a notice that the new and improved Slee headlight harness is back in stock, just wanted to let everyone know. Looks really nicely done, I've ordered and will report back.

@JSX This might be what you are looking for. I did this mod and WOW the light output is impressive.
