that's what i was figuring, dont want to scratch up the purty powdercoat before it even leaves the shop!

You snooze you loose :D

Actually, that was just a test fit.

Hmmm...that bumper looks familiar. So now that it's "used" a commensurate discount will apply...right? :p

Bambi killing version already?? That was quick.....

nope not yet. it's some time off, i'm not holding my breath. I've got a bambi-killer now so I'm not worried about it. He's got a bunch of other things on the plate before it comes time to do it.

Thats what I thought, but the post made me wonder...

Turn signals:

I know this has been discussed several times on this thread--but wanted check-in now that the bumper is in production and "final"--what is the "official", or generally agreed upon, recommendation on how the LX front turn signals should be handled with this setup (e.g., how are the turn signals handled on GOUDGAT?)

Thanks!

make them like the land cruiser. Get the new housings and sockets/bulbs.

Thanks.

On this point--apologies if already covered:

1) What is the ballpark cost for the parts needed (I'm guessing CDAN could help source)?

2) Are the parts plug-&-play, or are there some modifications needed to either the truck or the parts?

3) How difficult is the install (i.e., could an inexperienced enthusiast with a socket set and a couple of screwdrivers get this done)?

Thanks guys!

P.s. My last weekend adventure with the Mrs. in the truck with me has led me to prioritize a bumper purchase sooner than I had anticipated. While on a trail at Rausch Creek, we slid down an icy hill at a very uncomfortable speed and came very close to running into a significant tree stump in the process. As soon as the truck came to a halt, my wife turns to me and says: You need to get that bumper you've been talking about!

It will require a little bit of electrical work (splice/solder (or crimp) /insulate). After that, it is plug and play.;)

So, you will need the corner lamps, bulb and socket for an LC. It appears like it can be ordered as one complete unit or in pieces.

Thanks.

Looks like the perfect time to get a bumper:cheers:

So anybody getting the new slee armor want to sell me your old armor?

I got lucky, spressomon sold me his TJM when he got the SLEE front bumper:D

I may have a TJM available, but not sure when. The turbo will need to be re-worked to fit Christo's new bumper and that may be quite the ordeal. I haven't decided if I'll be doing it this year or not.
