Each time I click on a new thread my screen changes and says "open this page in an app" and doesn't give me the option to choose 'cancel'. It did it to me twice just trying to start this thread. iOS on iPhone. Doesn't do it on any other forums.

Anything not mud is part of it. Click to open a thread, redirects to a spam URL, then rapidly jumps to and from another 6 or so sites before landing on a random video page, or a prompt to download an app, or even opening the App Store. I'm mobile, this is happening on my iPhone.

If it helps I'm on an Android using Chrome and having no issues. I'd guess it's a result of something you installed or browser cache. No issues at all with this site.

I've never understood why iOS /iPhones are so vulnerable to this stuff, and Android isn't. Thanks for the list, I'll add those to the block. Most networks catch them automatically, but never hurts to add them manually.

Weird. Still happening. Got this one this morning. Opens the 'go to the app store' prompt.

There has been an ongoing issue with viewing the full forum while using an iPad or Android Tablet.
Hey Woody, I know this is an old thread, but I couldn't find anything else newer on the topic.

I'm using my iPhone (iOS 10.2.1) to access the site via Safari and I'm constantly being overwhelmed by pop-ups that redirect me from Safari to a random app page in my App Store. When I return to the Mud page in Safari, it once again redirects me to a different random app in the App Store. The cycle repeats until I exit out of the Mud page and start from scratch, and then it'll usually start again after I've scrolled through a page or two.

Is there anything in my settings that I can change to prevent this? I am logged in to the site every time this has happened.

Thanks!

This is the screen that pops up in Safari. No matter if I choose Cancel or Open, it automatically redirects me to the Apple App Store.

This is the full link, not sure if that helps.

After I chose Cancel, the link changes to this and it opens the App Store.

I'm not sure how to access my history on my iPhone.

the history is critical, since redirects often rip thru 2-3 url's before displaying....they are all noted in browser history.

I'm experiencing a lot of issues with this site as well. From my phone, I get a pop up that says I have a virus. I can close the window and everything is ok. This only happens after surfing the site for a little while. Then tonight, after reading some threads on my laptop, I got a popup with audio saying that my computer was hacked and the, if I don't call a certain phone number, my bank accounts, facebook and some other sites will all be hacked. I couldn't close the web page and, when I closed Edge and reopened it, the pop up came right back. I had to use the Cortana taskbar to bring up another site to get that tab closed. This only happens when I look at multiple threads on Ih8mud.

I am on Android and continually getting redirected to a "congratulations!" page. I cannot go backwards in the browser as the page keeps redirecting/reloading. Have to close tab and start back on the website from scratch.

Whenever I'm on mud I keep getting a pop up saying my tablet has a virus and to download some app to fix it which is totally bogus. I can't get it to go away unless I shut the window which then I need to open a new window and find where I was in mud. It's very invasive and only happens on ih8mud forums. No other sites. Can u guys look into this please????
