Cool pictures-- The exact same type of seats (but brown) have been sitting in my garage waiting for install in my 72 piggy. Can you show more pictures of the floor beneath the seats? I would like to see where you drilled the holes and how you shimmed the seats.

Thanks

Jared

No problem, I took a bunch of pics, I will see if I have some that show what you want. They are super comfortable, you will love them. It sure changes the character of the pig.

Nat,

I have a '53 MGTD as well, maybe I'll shoot some pics some time. My TD has solid wheels w/ hubcaps and is all original. Hijack over.

Glad to see another person w/ same taste as mine!

Great looking Pig!

another hijack: i think it would be a fun thread to have every one just list their other project/fun/money pits just to see the diversity. We are all car nuts at heart.

You'll find those from time-to-time in the Chat section. Just beware of the 35% threads.

I will..........let me find them and get it setup

Pighead was being facetious about the wire wheels on a TD...here's Pighead with his '52.

Can't be a TD, TDs didn't have wire wheels....unless you've got TF wire wheels...have an MGA rear end too?

I got my bench seat re-sprung and restuffed. It made a HUGE difference as well as making it more comfortable it improved the view of the road since I'm not way down on broken or worn springs in the seat.
It retained the stock look to as I had them reuse the original covering (it has only one dime sized tear that they patched).
Probably cost less than a set or wrecker seats too at about $50! That's one of the benefits of being in Central America!

id love to see pics too! i have a feeling like ... umm if you took the pics out of the 35% threads :grinpimp:
